  • Excellent Bluetooth usage. Good for mobile hotspot too.
I don't really have a necessity right now for Wi-Fi, which is why I won't focus this review much on the Wi-Fi side of it, but instead of the Bluetooth and Mobile Hotspot functions of it. First off, in terms of installation, it depends heavily on how comfortable you are opening your case, and plugging the PCIe and USB cable into the motherboard. I found it very easy, and I consider myself decent in terms of tech knowledge. In terms of the Bluetooth, right from the get-go it immediately picked up my Speakerphone and my Xbox One Controller perfectly. I tested it on gaming (Dead By Daylight and Rocket League) for about 4 hours straight usage and there was no delay, no lag, no ghosting, no issues whatsoever. Compared to a knockoff Bluetooth dongle I was using, this is an EXCELLENT product. While you can get good/original Bluetooth dongles from TP-Link for about 10-15 USD, I'd rather make a permanent and better upgrade for my PC with this buy. No regrets from my end, and happy to finally be able to use my Xbox Controller from afar without any lag or delay. ... show more

  • Works flawlessly
I bought this PCIE Wifi Adapter mainly because my on-board motherboard wifi driver would constantly fail on me. Finally got sick of it and ordered this. Easy to install (I didn't bother with the bluetooth cable) but plugged it in, and instantly got wifi connection again. *Note: If you are in the same boat as I was (mobo wifi fails) you may have to disable your mobo driver for this thing to actually work. At least I did ... show more

  • Forget about wire connection
The TP-Link WiFi 6 PCIe offer a good performance that can be used to replace wire connection. TP-Link WiFi 6 PCIe offer Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 to connect wireless devices like mice, keyboard, controller and headphone with low latency. For connection you will need to a USB motherboard connection and this card doesn't reqiured any power. PROS: 1.Wifi 6 and Blutooth 5.0 2.Offer 2.4 / 5.0 GHz 3. Speed up to 2402 Mbps on GHz CONS: 1.A little bit pricey ... show more

  • Motherboard USB Header Hack
My HP ProLiant M10 has a USB front panel connector that isn't oriented like the one that came with this product. See picture for what it looks like when connected to the front panel. Note the color of the four wires and the empty slot. If you turn the adapter upside down and plug it into the top row of pins, orienting wires as shown, then you get Bluetooth. Do so at your own risk, of course. I have a better solution en route, but got impatient. Card is a little tricky to slot, but seems stable once it's in there. Works in Ubuntu Linux plug and play. So far, linked it to a BT keyboard and mouse. ... show more

  • I/O bracket needs to be redesigned
Product received in great condition. I installed the ax210 (not ax3000) into my computer and found that the IO shield was too long. After taking a pair of tin snips to the I/O shield, I realized that the mount holes for the device itself were actually in the wrong place. I modified the shield/bracket until it fit correctly and the device was plugged in properly. Testing the device yielded great results, and worked properly. Buyers should note, this is technically an Intel product. So be prepared for that. Tp link does not carry the latest drivers on their website. 4/5 for I/O shield or bracket not fitting properly. ... show more

  • Much better than USB
I switched to this from using USB, it is so much better. Longer range, my mic comes through clearer to people and it hasn't bugged my audio like the stick did. I would get crackling robot sound and not be able to hear people when they could still hear me. So I'd have to reset. Now I don't have that problem. When installing, we had to bend the bracket at one of the knotches so that it would sit flush in the plugs. Just gradually bent it a little at a time until it was sitting where we needed it to screw it in. Not hard to do. ... show more

  • Ditch the USB wifi adapters, switch to WiFi PCIe cards NOW. This thing is awesome!
I've used several USB WiFi adapters for my PC because I like the convenience of its size, the ease of installation, and how unnoticeable it is so I can keep my PC looking clean. What I noticed is that all these wifi adapters always had lag spikes and that was infuriating. My friend suggested I switch to a PCIe card since that would be more reliable since it's got antennas and plugged right into the MOBO so I decided to give it a go. Absolutely no regrets buying this card. My old WiFi issues are non-existant and I finally get stable internet speeds. Plus, the antennas are attached to the card so I don't have to really see them nor need extra cable clutter. To PC users shopping for wifi adapters, Ditch the trash USB WiFi adapters and buy a PCIe WiFi card and you will not regret it. ... show more

  • WiFi 5 to 6... like emerging from darkness into the light of day!
Very easy to install and appears to use the same drivers set as older versions of TP-Link products, but I installed the provided drivers included just in case. Even with my older WiFi 5 router I noticed amazing increases in file transfer speeds. Once I got my Netgear WiFi 6 router here (refurbished) the difference was beyond comprehension! I'm now feeling a lot more secure with WPA 3, and these cards will still connect to a WiFi 6 router if you leave a SSID broadcast on WPA 2. I still have a few towers running WiFi 5 USB units, but I've ordered more of these babies and will soon switch all SSID to WPA 3. As for coverage I can say that it is stronger than before and my home is a ranch at about 2,500 sq. ft. I'm not getting the drop outs like before and moving files across MULTIPLE towers and devices takes a mere fraction of the time it did before. A+ As for the Bluetooth portion, I cannot say anything as I have yet to utilize that feature. But if you're tired of slow speed across your network you cannot go wrong with these cards and a WiFi 6 router. Best upgrade for the buck I've had in a long time. ... show more
