Used as a squirrel deterrent, along with a plastic cone shield, it works! The squirrels get frustrated trying to climb the long pole, and we put it far enough away from trees, so they can't jump onto it. Easy to assemble, seems sturdy, and the ability to change the height is nice. The hooks are large, attractive, and functional. It held a hanging impatiens basket on one hook and bird feeder on the other hook all summer, and had no rust or other issues. We took down the flower basket for the winter, leaving the feeder, and will probably replace the basket with a second feeder, as the pole tilts to one side without something on both hooks. We assembled the second pole, but haven't used it yet. Very happy with this purchase!

These hooks work well to hang two plants. The hooks are easy to assemble. The hooks are able to handle plants of different weights.

I like these and have hummingbird feeders on mine. I have found they are not sturdy enough to support heavy items.

They are nicer than expected with sturdy, clean construction and design. The unexpected options for the adjustable height feature came in especially nicely, and the need for such had not yet occurred to me. I am a 75 yr. old lady and found them easily assembled and anchored in the ground. They fit right into my cute little garden area and they dress it up! The taller one holds a hummingbird feeder and is quite stable even though I have not yet balanced it with a flower pot on the opposite curl, and the shorter one is easily able to hold 2 heavy fly trap containers. They really enhance my tiny garden😊

This is the second time I ordered this product and the second order is not the same as the first. The first pole was way bigger in diameter and sturdier. I bought this a second time because one of the first ones I ordered bent at the base, so I bought a second time to replace the broken bottom segment. But the second item is way thinner than the first. By the time I went to fix the old one and figured this out, I had missed the return window. So now I’m stuck with these flimsy good for nothing Shepard hooks that will bend with a weak gust of wind. Because if the first one bent within a year, and is way thicker, these thin little toothpicks don’t stand a chance.

These were very easy to assemble and stick to the ground. They seem ok quality but they’re definitely NOT the sturdiest out there. However with the strong winds recently they’ve not bended or fallen so it’s okay. I like how it’s easy to adjust the height. We use them for bird feeders (one feeder each) and I wanted to hang flowers on the other side but I’m not sure if they could carry that weight without bending.
