This comb is big and sturdy. It's well made with no sharp corners of edges. It's ideal for very gently combing out hair just after shower when hair is most vulnerable to breakage, and then the hair air dries beautifully. This comb has become an essential hair care tool but it was especially nice to find this one in the color needed. It is not a solid opaque white but a slightly translucent frosted white. It's very well made and works nicely but also looks great in a white color scheme. Photo shows the black comb I had before and this new white one in comparison. The white one is thicker and sturdier. The printed logo is on just the one side of this white one. On the white sink top it is a bit difficult to see that it is a semi-translucent white but if you look closely at the handle where the logo is on the reverse side, you can kind of tell there. I had been experiencing hair loss which is why I originally switched from a brush to wide tooth combs (every time I tried brushing my hair so much snagged and fell out that it was like a little grief every time I brushed my hair) and though the issue of hair loss has been resolved, I will never again be without a well made wide tooth comb. The way it runs through hair, even after a shower, is amazing and tangle free. It doesn't snag or pull out those precious strands. This comb has not resolved frizz for me but it DOES reduce it. When I use it with one single drop of rosemary EO to scalp top after a shower and comb it through, the combo knocks the frizz back and helps my hair and scalp. On dry or wet hair, this comb is tops! It's not just for one type of hair, by any means. Whatever hair type, if you want to grow or care for medium to long beautiful locks, thick, thin, fine, straight, mature, wavy or curly, this comb will do so in a way that won't cause extra damage to your hair. It's no delicate thing. You can drop this comb, accidentally bang it on the table too hard, step on it.... It's very durable and will last a long time. Would stand up to a busy commercial hair styling environment. Super function and the frosted white color looks very nice.

This is sturdy wide tooth and don't bend of flex. Very high quality for such a low price. It works great to get that brushed through finger rake of loosening curls. Works great. Highly recommend. It also big not like clown size like some of these others that I've seen. Actually bought a second one of theses like it so much.

Another fine quality item from Paul Mitchell! The wide tooth comb untangles even the toughest of knotty hair. When combing, the teeth have a nice way of making even lines through hair. Easy to take with you wherever you are going. Cutting performance is great and pink is a great color!! Comfortable to use on wet or dry hair. Highly recommended!!

I am 45 years old and have always used a pick when combing my hair after a shower. I’ve started getting a lot of breakage in my hair and it was recommended I start using this instead of a pick because it doesn’t have seams and won’t lift my hair up, which can increase breakage. I thought for sure I would hate it after being so used to my old tools. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It combs my wet hair nicely. It doesn’t feel sharp so it’s a nice feel on my scalp. It’s large and easy to hold. It’s thick and seems durable. I haven’t felt any pulls or tugs like I did with my pick but yet it still combs my hair nicely. So far so good and I’m hopeful this will help avoid some of my breakage!

I only had to open the Amazon package to feel that this was legit, a great comb. Feels like industrial strength material/grade. I'm joking but not really. I was sure it would be a good item because of the reviews I saw, but there's always that chance you're getting something flimsy or not worth it (like my recent wireless earbud experience.) I am happy to say this was way better than expected. Hope this review helps someone else that almost tried to save a few pennies by buying something cheaper. It was worth it just to get a kick out of how thick this comb turned out to be. One other thing, I ordered this on a whim close to midnight last night and it actually arrived before 1pm today with no problems. Not sure if the people who brainstorm for this design/material ever see the reviews, but thank you. ***UPDATE: After using it for a while, it does the trick just fine but I do understand why I saw reviews about how the teeth of the comb hurt. I think it takes some getting use to. I'm not sure you would want to use it if you have a sensitive scalp or for children.
