Although these were advertised as having speeds "up to" 120mbs, I wasn't counting on anywhere near that, but didn't know what to expect. Ordered this Patriot 128G USB 3 flash drive 1/4/22. (Usable capacity of 115GB). So for the all of the three days I have had it, it is working good. Write and read speeds typical for USB 3. See the HD Tach graph speed test attached here.

OK price per GB for a small package, but... I've seen USB2 drives go faster. I mistakenly got this thinking it was the Rage Elite, not Rage Lite. My fault, and I realized it after it shipped. I thought, well, how bad could it be? It wasn't garbage, but it was pretty bad. Read speed was good, but write speed was awful. 2-5 mb/s with the average on the lower side. I had 17GB of random pictures, documents, and videos (backing up a random computer's critical data), and it took 90-100+ minutes to write. In contrast, I also got a Samsung Bar drive at 64gb (this drive was 32gb) for a few bucks more, and transferring the same data, the write speed was averaging a consistent 30+ mb/s write, so it was like <10 minutes or so. WAY quicker. this drive is a good price for reads, but beware, fully loading it on there will take some time. ... show more

I've been using Patriot flash drives for several years and I like a lot of their products, but this was a let down. As you can see in the image, it's USB 2,0 speeds, not anywhere near the advertised USB 3.0 speeds.
