We needed a new office chair for our intern and looked at several before deciding on this one. We made a great selection! This office chair is a high quality piece of furniture! My husband and I easily assembled it in about 15 minutes. The parts were clearly organized. It had a very nice set of directions with it, and all the screws were very clearly labeled. The directions were concise and had instructions and nice drawings to follow. They even added in three extra screws in case one is dropped and lost. When my husband was taking it out of the box, he noticed how substantial it was- he said “I’ve had a lot of office chairs in my 30 years of owning my own business, and this one is really high-quality.” You can tell by the material that it is made from and the sturdy feeling of the base. I love the extras of the lumbar support, comfy headrest, and the foot rest. It’s honestly as comfortable as some of our reclining chairs! The armrests are nicely positioned, and the chair fits my body type well (5’ 5) and my husband’s height of 5’11. I believe we have a great new office chair for a reasonable price! ... show more

I have either sat in or owned several types of office-oriented chairs. Also, I have built all of the ones I have owned and some for others that have bought them. For reference, I am 6 foot 2 inches at about 200 pounds fitting into this Ergonomic Office Chair. Pros: - GREAT build instructions, very clear and concise. - Solid materials, most of the crucial components are made of metal and the plastic is thick and sturdy. - Nice packaging, the box wasn't too much but definitely a good presentation at your doorstep. - Comfortable, but in the right way. - TONS of adjustments, lumbar, headrest, bottom, armrest, ect.. - Good looking chair in my office! Cons: - The instructions are really great, but the chair is seriously pretty solid and heavy. It is difficult to hold some of the parts and build them at the same time. So, make sure you have some helping hands available and DON'T hurt yourself. This doesn't warrant less stars because I am happy it has heavy and well built materials. - It doesn't like lean backwards in a sense that the entire chair rocks back. It has a lever on the side that you can latch or unlatch which only will lean back the back part of the chair. This isn't a bad things because it actually is a bit more versatile this way. But be aware of this if you plan to buy it. - Not much else, I will update this review when I get more sitting hours on the chair. This chair seriously competes with more expensive ergonomic chairs I have built and used. The best part is, it is MUCH more affordable. It is important to note that the chair is ERGONOMIC, which means it isn't suppose to be SUPER soft padding. The mesh padding is comfy but it is a bit harder than a full on cushion. This is the ERGONOMIC part of it, you want the add extra support to make you sit up straight instead of being slouched or sucked into an overly padded chair. What you find is the over achieving cushion chairs actually make your back hurt more than this ergonomic one after a full day of sitting. You can adjust this one easily and move your sitting position to keep the blood flow going. I personally really like the foot/leg rest that slides out from under the chair. I can pull that out and lean the chair back into a kind of sudo recliner position. This is great if you are watching tv or in a meeting and not activity sitting up and typing. As previously stated, if you are inexperienced to building office chairs. Have a helping hand, this thing is on the heavy side. Like I said, made up of really great parts and this ISN'T a negative. Overall it is a GREAT chair and I recommend buying this for its class. ... show more

I've been using the PatioMage Executive Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair for several weeks now, and as someone who works from home for 8-10 hours a day, I feel compelled to share how this chair has been a literal lifesaver for me. As a bigger guy at 6'2" and 300lbs, finding the right office chair that provides both comfort and support for long hours can be a real challenge. But let me tell you, the PatioMage has been a game changer. First off, the ergonomic design of this chair is something to rave about. It's like it was tailor-made for my body, aligning perfectly with the natural curves of my spine. The ability to adjust virtually every aspect of this chair – from the headrest, lumbar support, armrest, to the seat depth and height – has allowed me to find that sweet spot of comfort that I need for my long workdays. The adjustable seat depth, in particular, has been a standout feature. It's incredible how a small adjustment to fit my leg length can make such a significant difference in comfort, especially for someone of my size. The lumbar support deserves a special mention too. It has a lift and rotate feature that has provided my lower back with the kind of support I didn't even realize I was missing. It's been a huge relief for my back, especially on those longer workdays. Now, let's talk about the armrests. The 3D adjustability here is nothing short of impressive. They move up and down, forward and backward, left and right, ensuring my arms are always in the most comfortable position. And the materials! I used to get sweaty from my last office chair, but not with the high-elastic special soft mesh because it is both breathable and durable, making it perfect for sitting for long hours. The chair comes with a footrest, but I don't seem to use it much. They cut no corners with the build quality, from the moment you sit down you will feel nothing but a sturdy throne. I won't say it's been all roses, though. Getting the adjustments right took some time and patience, especially for someone of my size. Assembling this chair is a pain as it uses hex bolts, to which they provide a small tool. It would help to have a second person. This chair is also on the pricier side too, which might not fit everyone's budget, and it's a bit bulky, so make sure you have the space for it. Also, a few more color options would have been nice. But overall, if you're a bigger person looking for a high-quality, ergonomic office chair that can withstand long hours, the PatioMage is a solid choice. It's transformed my work-from-home experience, and I genuinely feel more productive and less fatigued at the end of the day.
