My work often involves long sitting hours, and I needed a comfortable chair to work with. And II am glad that I decided to go with this Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair from PatioMage. This chair comes with all the bells & whistles that I could have asked for. The frame is made with alloy steel, and the seat with nylon. These provide it the required strength to be able to withstand weight more than 400lbs. It has everything that a comfortable chair needs to have: adjustable headrest and armrest, stable reclining, dynamic lumbar support, adjustable seat depth and the cherry on the cake - retractable footrest. :) The assembly instructions are quite easy to follow, and the chair comes with a one-year Warranty. I am not sure if many vendors have that kind of confidence in their product. The seat is wide enough for all body shapes, and the seat depth can also be adjusted according to one’s comfort level. Atleast in my case, I haven’t experienced any backpain since I started using this chair, primarily because of the dynamic lumbar support, which provides additional support to the lower back. The armrests are stable, yet soft and don’t hurt after a long use. And when I need a power nap, or just need some extra peace to delve deep in my thoughts, I pull out the footrest and feel like the comfort of my house. Update, The company was very proactive in contacting me concerning the points I mentioned in my review, and that's refreshing considering the poor level of "customer service" a lot of places offer these days. They were very nice and helpful, and I think they actually will try to improve the chair based on the reviews from customers. Just for the great customer service, I'm going to add a star. ============ Original Review Follows ================= I like how it looks. I like the forward-back seat adjustment. That's a big plus that you don't find on a lot of chairs. I like how it sits high, but I'm over 6 feet tall...so it might not be comfortable for someone shorter. I like that it feels sturdy and heavy. But there are two things I don't like...almost to the point of being disappointed I bought the chair: 1) I do not like that the adjustments on the arm rests and headrest don't lock in place. Several times a day, I put a little pressure on the arm rest, and it moves forward, moves back, or rotates unexpectedly. 2) The head rest has no front-to-back adjustment, but up and down and angle. It's fine where it is if I lean the chair back, but when I'm sitting completely upright, I don't want the headrest to come out to where my head is. The chair is comfortable once you get everything set to your liking, and it has plenty of adjustment. I just wish it felt a little more tightly engineered. The inability to lock the arm and head rests isn't enough for me to take the thing apart, box it back up, and return it. But I can't recommend this chair. ... show more

I was looking for a new office chair so i gave this one a shot after seeing similar ones. The fact that i always thought cushion was comfortable is mind blowing lol!, the mesh kind of expands a little when sitting down then retracts back and this is wayy better than my previous desk chairs with cushion 101%. It looks so professional on the simpler side but its perfect. It reclines A LOT and it feels safe every time. I think the most underrated feature is the seat locking it makes a big difference depending on how Straight you sit down ... show more

    • Good chair overall, however the seat size was too small for me.

It's a good chair, but if you have a broad frame like I do - the seat size may be too small for you. The mesh itself is comfortable to sit on, however if your frame/size extends to the edges of the seat where the hard plastic is - you won't be able to sit on it comfortably. I also didn't find the lumbar support to be as effective as I was thinking it would be. I think this is largely due to the 'flex' that it has (in all configured positions/settings). The chair is well-built and seemed durable. It was also easy to put together. The mesh cover had a couple of frayed ends that would rub my skin, but that's easy to take care of with a pair of nail clippers. I didn't think the lumbar support was that effective. The seller did communicate with me as I set up the return and I was left with a favorable opinion of them through this whole process. ... show more
