My Fiancé loves this style of heater. Due to the age of our house we can't have the control settings on high or else it'll blow a fuse. But it's worth every penny. It's a little loud, so if you're watching tv, you would have to turn the TV up over the heater. It's very small so it doesn't take up much space at all. I love that it has an automatic shut off setting, so if it's on and you lift it up or knock it over, it'll turn off. The heat output is very good when you close the doors to the room you're wanting to warm up. The lifespan of these are usually a good 5 or so years if you take good care of it. ... show more

Heat and fan worked, but when I tested tipover switch the unit powered off, but did not recover and would not function. Unplugged, plugged back in, waited, tried again, all to no avail. I bought two of these heaters and will probably order two more. I am currently using one to heat my bathroom and the other one to heat my hallway. I have them set on the lower, 1300 watt, setting and they are keeping the spaces nice and warm. The outside of the heaters gets warm but not hot. They are very quiet. These are sturdy metal heaters but they are lightweight. They have a safety tipover feature, which I wanted because I have a dog. Overall, these are good heaters for the price. ... show more

The fan started making noise about three weeks, using the heater maybe 3 to 4 hours a day, eventually stopped working after three months. The brand Beyond Heat is a better product.
