Love the small size and the ability to use my own trash can. Works well for card shredding with no jams. Did use it as recommended; not more than 6 sheets at a time, 5 minutes at a time, and allowed it to fully cool down between uses. Good value for the money.

I actually bought another shredder before this one but the arm wasn't long enough to fit over the existing trash can. I like this one better because not only will the arm extend over the trash can (kitchen size), but the arm feels sturdy.
