This pump replaced a smaller pump that I used for a couple of years. At first I was pleased with the pump's pressure / performance ... for the first 3 uses. However, just beyond the 30 day return window, when I tried to use it for the fourth time, it failed to run or pump any water at all. Seller referred me to Amazon who refused to accept a return or provide a replacement. I will purchase yet another pump, but NEVER again from this company.

We purchased this item after a unforgettable window well leak in our basement. We lost so much and nothing was covered by insurance. I am thrilled to be prepared for this rainy season. Plus we can use it to drain our pool. The pump quality is great and the speed is just what we will need. The fact that it is completely submersible is ideal. It also doesn't make a lot of noise. I am definitely satisfied with the performance of this purchase. I think it is a good item to have in the home to have on stand by.

Shouldn’t expect much for a pump at this price. No on off switch, needs to be unplugged manually. Says it can be used in dirty water, but doesn’t work well. Easily gets clogged up drastically cutting its pumping performance. Would only suggest using this in clean water.

I’ve had this pump for barely 2 months. Started making noise and is now intermittently turning off and on. It has literally been used about 12 times in 2 months. This thing is JUNK. I have other pumps that I’ve used for several years with NO PROBLEMS, using them 100 plus times a year. if it’s something your going to use a few times, then great but if your looking for quality and durability, THIS IS NOT THE PUMP FOR YOU!!! JUNK, JUNK, JUNK!!! Hope this helps someone.
