DISCLAIMER: I don't use this as intended. Regardless, it's doing great, so take from that what you will. Basically, the filter pump for my 12'/30" Bestway pool died and I needed something cheap and fast because it's been boiling outside and there isn't enough algaecide to keep the pool clear in this heat. I bought this, attached a 1-micron filter bag to the outlet via a metal hose clamp, and dropped it in. This was meant to be a temp solution, but I think I'm going to keep it as my water is now clearer than it ever was with the traditional filter. This thing is powerful and moves water FAST. At one point the filter bag blew off, and I came outside to see a mini-fountain bubbling up from the middle of my pool. Haven't had an issue with mosquitoes or algae, either, as this keeps the water flowing. Of course, I unplug and remove it before swimming. It's completely silent underwater too, so I can run it all night without worrying about disturbing our neighbors. Will update at the end of the season as to whether or not it survives. It's taken 14-hour use stretches with no sign of corroding or slowing down, so I'm pretty optimistic!

This pump is powerful and whisper quiet. Only a low hum is emitted as it pumps water. I used it to empty my hot tub. My hot tub has to be emptied and refilled every year as routine maintenance. It holds about 300 gallons of water. The hot tub comes with a drain but trickling the water out of the drain takes hours. So I got this pump to try to speed that up. The pump worked really well. I connected the pump to a 1.25" x 50' hose, dropped the pump in the water and let it run. Took about 10 minutes. I shut it off when started to suck air. There was 10-20 gallons remaining. The pump did a good job getting down to the bottom -- most of that unpumped water was unreachable in the nooks and crannies of the hot tub. I just mentioned it to get a good idea of pump performance. 280 gallons in 10 minutes is 1680 GPH. Which is not as fast as advertised (4500 GPH) but plenty fast enough to allow me to finish the annual maintenance in half a morning.

This pump is amazing . It easily shoots 25 feet of water in the air . We use it in a fountain and it works as well as 1 hp pumps that cost more than$200.00 . Wish I had found this company years ago .

I needed to drain my 7500 hard side above ground pool so one of the posts could be replaced (hit by Lawncare company). This sub pump did a fantastic job draining down to a tiny puddle -more than the 1/5” per the description.

I bought a 1/3 HP sump pump and it worked fine until 11 months later. I replaced it with this 1 HP pump and it so much stronger. I use it to pump water from my pool with a garden hose (3/4" standard) and delivers water with 5 feet elevation up the steps and into my hot tub which makes a water fall.

The media could not be loaded. As the saying goes, "if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!" I currently have a 25yr old 1/3 HP Little Giant submersible pump that will out-perform this lousy, less than adequate model on its worst day when it over-heats! This company, in all of its false representation, boasts 4500 GPH, that's 75 GPM. I have 50 gallon rain barrels that I needed this pump for and sadly, I have to purchase one ALOT MORE expensive now to get the job done. To ice the cake a little more thick, this Chinese pump does not even ship a filter screen to deter algae and leaves from clogging it, and my 40 ft hose up. I had to connect my 85psi city water hose up to blow out the debris. HIGHLY RECOMMEND shopping elsewhere to everyone! In closing, I don't even want to return this pump in an effort to save someone the extreme let-down when they clean it up and try to resell it. Recommendation to PhTool, Trash the model guys and redesign with honesty and integrity!
