I purchased this pump a few months ago. After our 2020 income tax refund I purchased a water softener for the house. But the city water pressure for my house is too low for the softener to work properly so I needed to boost the pressure. This pump did exactly that. The city pressure supply is around 40 psi with nothing running but drops to below 14psi when running anything in the house but never below 10 psi. Even the tankless water heater shut itself down mid shower because the city pressure would drop so low. I needed a steady 40 psi to 45 psi for the softener and a steady 25 psi for the tankless water heater but wanted at least 60 psi for the house appliances and faucets and shower. I installed the pump it and it increased the pressure to the house by 65 psi so it had a fluctuating 105 psi with the pump - dependant on what the city pressure was doing. I tried the 105 psi for a couple of days. But taking a shower with 105 psi was like showering with a pressure washer and the pipes were rattling and whining when the water was being run. The toilet had a squealing sound when refilling at that pressure. So I had to go in and install a pressure regulators on both the input and output sides of the pump to regulate the final pressure to the 60 psi that I wanted. The pressure regulators also helped to stabilize the pressure so its not fluctuating based upon the city pressure any more. Also the tankless water heater has never shut off mid shower since the pump install. The pump has its own built in pressure switch and controls but these are not adjustable. I do wish that there was a way to adjust the controls pressures. Also the input and output ports are 1 inch which a lot of house plumbing is either 1/2" or 3/4" in my area so I had to install it by using reducer fittings and extra piping. Also the pump requires at least 3 ft of 1 inch pipe on the output side before it can be reduced down to the house piping size. For me it's 3/4" for the main run and reduced again to 1/2" further down line. Unfortunately, the instruction paper is not very detailed in the specks and requirements. I had to go online and email the company and ask for technical installation advice for the missing details in the instruction papers. But their tech emailed me back quickly with the information I needed less than one day later. The pump works great and keeps up even with my 5 kids and my wife and I taking showers and running the laundry everyday.

I installed this pump yesterday and it boosted city water from about 27 to 70 psi. I used 3/4 inch pipe and it seems to work fine. I also did not install the recommended pressure reducer but it works fine. That could possibly be a fatigue issue in the future but I doubt it since my starting pressure was close to the inlet pressure limit. After purging air the pump would not turn off. I cycled the power aired pressed the reset button on the controller and that did he trick. Pump runs for about 7 seconds air after turning off water. So far so good and I will update this review if there are any issues.

This is an interesting pump. I was in the market for a whole home pressure boosting system for low city water pressure. My static PSI is around 30 and drops below 25 during use (measured at the shutoff). We are on a hill and others experience low pressure, so the city recommends installing a pump for more pressure. The price of the pump is what got me interested, plus no need for an expansion tank. Here are a few very important details: - The pump will only turn on when it senses a DROP in pressure, not necessary water flow at the faucet. - After water flow has stopped, the pump will continue to pressurize the system to about 80 PSI. - Any inline expansion tank WILL affect the pump sensor and will not operate as expected. Since I use a water heater tank and not a tankless heater, my installation requires a small pressure tank to stabilize the system (As water in the tank heats, it expands and causes the system to pressurize. The tank absorbs the pressure and reduces strain). With the default pump installation (Pressure limiter set to 20 PSI), having a pressure tank causes water flow to reduce to a trickle before the pump kicks on. My installation includes a pressure reducer before AND after the pump, ~25 PSI in and reduced to ~50 PSI out. 50 PSI is more than enough, 70 is way too much IMO. My water line is split, half feeds the cold water supply and the other half feeds my water tank. Directly after the split, I have a one way valve, then pressure tank. This works well enough, turning on cold water almost instantly turns on the pump, and only turning on hot water reduces pressure quite a bit before turning on, but still allows the pump to operate. I found this system works best with single handed faucets that mix cold and hot water, causing little pressure drop before turning on. Now the pump itself is quite loud and sounds like it's grinding up rocks. I have it installed downstairs and can hear it clearly upstairs. I plan on closing off the utility room with rockwool and hope that helps. Eventually I might switch to a standard well pump based system with a large pressure tank and a pressure switch, but the low cost of this pump was perfect to start off with. Note, for a proper install you will need quite a bit of plumbing parts. Avoid this type of system if you have a water tank.

Dear Sir, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the quality of the jet pump that I purchased from your website. I purchased this product in May 2022, and it broke after only 10 months of use. When I purchased this product, I expected it to be durable and long-lasting. However, I was extremely disappointed when it suddenly stopped working after such a short period of time. I had taken great care to ensure that the product was properly maintained and used according to the manufacturer's instructions, so I am at a loss as to why it broke so soon. I tried to contact your customer service team to discuss this issue, but I was met with a great deal of resistance. It took several attempts to get through to someone, and when I finally did, I was told that there was nothing that could be done about the situation. I was not offered a refund or even an apology for the inconvenience that I had experienced. As a customer, I feel that I have been let down by your company. I believe that the product that I received was not up to the standard that I had come to expect from your brand, and I feel that your customer service team did not do enough to address my concerns. I would appreciate it if you could take some action to address the issues that I have raised. I believe that your company has a responsibility to provide high-quality products and customer service, and I expect nothing less from you. Sincerely,

This pump works very well! Mine came a bit bent, but I was able to fix it. We use it at our RV (very remote location). We bring water in a 100 gallon bladder and transfer to another collapsible tank. The pump pulls from the tank and delivers 30+ psig to the RV whenever a faucet, valve, etc. is opened. Great pressure! The fittings are 1" NPT. If you use it in the set-up where no water is bypassed or recirculated, I recommend getting a 1" NPT plug fitting to replace the priming port fitting (it does leak easily). The manual says you need 3'-5' of 1" pipe after the pump. I tried it with and without the extra pipe, it will work just fine. I had a 25' hose and the pump detected the pressure drop and kicked on.

We have had ours for about a year and a half with no problems. It was easy to install in line and boost our pressure up to what it should be in the house. We have city water, but we live up on a hill We live up on a hill and had low water pressure because of it. We installed this and have all the pressure we need now in the house. You don’t need a tank, but there will be a brief moment of low pressure until it kicks on. Once it kicks on, it’ll continuously run and you constantly have high pressure, you will have high pressure until it bleeds down a little bit second to kick on and then you have high-pressure again. It works as expected and we’re very satisfied with it.

I've tried 3 similar pumps, this is by far the best. The elimination of the bladder tank means there is one less thing that is guaranteed to fail over time. With pumps that have bladder tanks attached natively, you will likely have to replace the entire pump. This is also obviously better constructed than the rest, as well. Almost all components are metal, and the unit is very solid. I've been using it for a few months now, and it does its job without issue. Furthermore, the other pumps I tried, such as the XtremepowerUS 1.6hp 1" inch Shallow Well Pump run at over twice the HP, and likely twice the energy consumption, yet, at best, can only match the power of this pump. When I bought this pump, it was available with Amazon Prime guarantees, so what do you have to lose?

I installed exactly as the directions tell you to. I have the pressure regulator setup before the pump, 1” line the required distance from the output side of the pump, 1” line on the supply side of the pump. At times it shuts off at much higher than 100 psi. I have a gauge that I used to adjust the pressure regulator down. It will often times read just above the 80 psi mark. Then at other times it’ll be pegged all around to below the stop on the zero psi side where it’s far higher than 100 psi and basically spun. That being said when it was installed on cpvc lines it blew apart my lines that weren’t very old and installed properly. I ended up paying to have pex installed and then found that the pump appears to have an issue. To uninstall it would be a pain for sure as it’s in my crawlspace, return shipping and waiting on a replacement would be a pain. All of that being said I can tell you this the pressure it outputs when it cuts off at the proper 80 psi is fantastic. I can now have a steady stream at my shower regardless of if someone is doing dishes or flushing a toilet, washing hands, etc. the only thing I found that will throw the pressure off or that it and my water supply can’t keep up with is the washer and shower at one time. I see the flow slow then and it drops to about 25-30 psi which is still far better than I ever had. The price is high here. This was previously sold at menards for less than $250. Menards has a new branded pump they claim has improvements over their previous model. I will most likely replace this one with one of those if it’s over pressurizing causes us anymore issues. It definitely wasn’t a cheap install since I had to change all plumbing to pex most likely because of a faulty pump that you couldn’t tell was faulty until installing new pex that wouldn’t blow apart when it decided to over pressurize the line.
