I wanted a smaller spotting scope for my pistol range bag. It makes it a lot easier to spot groups when shooting at 25 yards.

A decent scope for what it is, a 12x scope with good optics and glass. As a spotting scope at the range, it is ok for 25 yards or less, but beyond that it is insufficient in magnification. For 50 yards or more, you'll have to spend a little bit more (Athlon has a 20-60x scope for about 130 bucks if you shop around).

I just received this and have only used it briefly, but I’m already very impressed with the quality. While I’m not an expert, the optics seem excellent. The monocular has a nice weight to it, which I actually prefer—it adds to the sense of durability. Overall, it looks and feels very well made, with great attention to detail and craftsmanship.

I liked the price for the large 60mm aperture and FMC optics which is an important figure of merit for optics. The exit pupil of 5mm is also acceptable. I was afraid the high power would cause jumpy images but the grip strap brings that under good control. No photos yet but so far I like using it. It fits perfectly into a stuff bag I bought from Amazon that straps to my belt.

Nice product but a little hard to get the proper placement so I get a clear shot. The magnification is impressive and it’s easy to focus.

The media could not be loaded. Really enjoyed using this monocular during our Alaska trip, especially for wildlife watching. The cellphone adapter and tripod were steadier than most others I tried, and the included strap was a practical size and easy to use. The monocular itself delivers clear visuals, though—like with all monoculars—there’s some shakiness when it’s not mounted. One downside is the carrying case, which is quite bulky and not the most travel-friendly. Also, the cellphone adapter could use improvement: the vertical alignment mechanism tends to slip, especially at crucial moments (like trying to capture a whale sighting). Still, overall a solid choice for casual wildlife viewing with some room for design tweaks.
