I originally purchased the metal detector to help my neighbor find his lost hearing aid. Unfortunately we were not able to find it but it was not the fault of the detector. He wasn't sure where or when he lost it in a bunch of tall grass. I did however have an alterior motive for getting it: to look for metal items in logs that I saw on my sawmill. By finding items before I hit them with the blade, I am able to save time and money by not wrecking blades. I have found several logs that have had nails and hooks in them. We got this for our 11 year old son for our annual family beach vacation. It was easy to assemble and disassemble for easy storage in our luggage. Clear instructions on how to use. While we didn’t find anything of value at the beach it was always spot on with what was under the sand and depth.

I love how easy the product is easy to use, and also how easy it was to bring with my anywhere. The bag it came with super helpful with carrying it too! The overall performance of the metal detector was surprising given my other one, it was so much better at detecting objects!
