We use these for straight edges on plotted drawings, so it will serve its purpose. However, it is quite floppy, which I think will make it more prone to being bent. For the price and availability, it will work fine for us.

I draw up intersections and the traffic control markings before old asphalt is stripped to replace. It doesn't slide off due to the cork backing and it you drop it it doesn't breal,break, or bend.
