Pros: Good adhesion, nice detail, no stringing, nice and shiny, colors are nice. No clogging. Cons: No real cons. I do wish the colors transitioned more quickly, so I would get more color variety in a print. It’s not really a con, just personal preference. I would definitely buy and use this filament again. I bought 2 different rolls of tri-color silk pla. I printed on a creality ender V3 KE at plate 50C and nozzel 220c. The plate was a glass comgrow. The print was a articulated dragon for each roll. they stuck well without glue and came off easily when cool. they change color from different directions. Beautiful. Zero problems. I will buy this brand again.

Update (original review below). Manufacturer reached out to me after my review and discussed what printing settings I had tried. After some troubleshooting, they agreed to send me a new roll to try. The new roll arrived quickly and after a bit of fiddling I managed to get two great prints out of the new roll. I will say that the filament was a bit more finicky than normal PLA but once I got the settings right it looks great. I attached two pictures above, one showing the quality of prints of an octopus. The initial roll is in front and the completed print is in the background and the second picture. I highly recommend this filament and would not hesitate to buy it again despite the initial issues due to the manufacturer's excellent customer service. I will start off by saying that this filament looks great based on the layers that I could get to print properly. That being said, getting this to print without adhesion and clogging has been impossible for me with various settings. Adhesion to the bed seems great and the first few layers print very well. After a few layers though it seems like the filament begins to clog the nozzle and then skips layers, eventually ceasing to print entirely. I have tried adjusting temperature upward in increments and also slowed down the print speed, but I cannot get good layers. I also hear a popping noise from the nozzle which makes me think that the filament might contain excess moisture. I have tried the exact same file with both normal PLA and PETG and it prints fine which seems to indicate that the culprit is this filament. If you can get this to print successfully I think it would look fantastic, but I have not been successful so far.

I really like this filament! The tri colors running the full length of the filament give the prints a great color shift throughout! It prints better in my Bambu A1 than the Bambu silk, even on the generic Bambu settings. You can also get a shiny or more matte finish, depending on print speed. I'll definitely be buying more when this runs out, my kids are obsessed with these colors!

I bought this 4 pack to give dual color and tricolor silks a whirl, to print some cheistmas gifts. I have now been futtzing with this for 2 days and havent managed to get a single print off. Moreover, I have tried different first layer/project temps, bed temps, and reslicing different projects using different infill patterns, shell thicknesses, brims and the like and have yet to get a single print past the first layer. The cardboard spools on my rolls are offcenter and wobble when they roll on the spool (probably has zero affect on print quality). When I run a first layer calibration, the filament lays down fone and looks like it should produce a good print. But no matter what object I slice and print even with those same settings, this filament globs up all over my hot end and creates a nightmare of a mess. I made a mistake in setting a print up and walking away for 30 minutes after it started, with the first print, and had this pla smashed all over and melted around my nozel and hot end. (Probably going to have to replace the hot end at this point, though it still seems to function, but is covered in this melted PLA film). I have never had this kind of issue with any other filaments I have ordered, and wouldnt be able to recommend this. Furthermore, its pretty expensive for 4 200g rolls of questionable quality. Your mileage may vary, as I see plenty of good reviews here which is why I purchased. But I suspect some bad QC is to blame. Printing on a prusa MK3
