The two-star review is because the right armrest came to us with a rip in the seam. I have tried to contact the seller about it but so far haven't received an answer. That's disappointing. Hopefully they'll get back to us soon. Otherwise, the recliner looks nice in our room and is fairly comfortable. The one this one replaced had more cushioning in the seat. But it's a nice size and overall it's acceptable. Just hope they get back to me soon about the armrest. ETA: The seller sent me a new right armrest, as well as refunded a percentage of the cost of the chair - which I feel is very fair. I found a small cushion to use when I sit in the chair, which greatly improves the cushioning issue for me. Some people may need a firmer chair, but I like my comfort. I'm happy with this chair and hope to have it for many years to come. Also, it takes more leg strength than I have to close it from a reclining position, BUT I have found if I push in the footrest as far in as I can, then scoot towards the front edge of the chair, spread my feet a bit, and draw them under me (as I would do to stand from a straight back chair), it works like a charm to close it.

It's nice. It's not bad. But 389$ ??! No. The back is very thin. There is no head/neck support. It being advertised as a plus sized chair is extremely misleading. It's not small, but it is NOT a plus sized chair. Okay. If you want a chair and you want to waste money, sure go for this. It's nice. It's comfy and the overstuffed is pretty spot on. The reclining is awkward. Like... It's too easy to recline. I had 500$ (gift card) to spend and pretty much bought the first chair I liked, that was 2 peices (to fit through a door), and wasn't heat/massage. I repeat. This is NOT worth $389+

When you try to push the foot rest down it's impossible to do. You have to climb out of the recliner and push the foot rest down however you can. It's too difficult to push the back back. It doesn't want to stay in the recline position. If you move it wants to go back in the upright position. I wanted to return it but the huge box it came in was almost destroyed. The seller was supposed to call me in 48 hours and he never did. Now I'm stuck with a barely functioning recliner. It won't happen again.

Very comfortable. Nice chair, love the size. But it’s not really as big as the picture makes it look. It’s just a tiny bit wider than my old regular sized recliner. However it is very comfortable and reclines all the way back. All in all I’m very happy with the purchase. And, the cover I bought fits perfectly.
