I bought this specifically for an international trip. It worked great. Due to how it is designed - this can be used in US as well without the plug adapters, which is a great feature. I was able to test out before my trip because of this. We only used for charging our phones & an Ipad - worked well either using the USB ports or using with a cube. It comes with all the plugs for different countries and plugs secure firmly into adapter. I really like this design with a short cord and not just inserting adapters into outlet - which tends to be too heavy and then they want to fall out. I know for most newer devices - your cube automatically converts the voltage, but I think this converter/adapter combo is worth it with multiple ways to use with USB options or outlet options. Comes with a storage bag for transport - just take the correct plug with you for your needs. & again - being able to use just in US as a multiple plug/USB charger is a great feature as well.

This is a fantastic buy, the only voltage converter I needed for my travels to asian. This has adapters for the international countries outlet. The conversion to 110 Voltage 60 cycles is accomplished and the 110 plugs worked great for my devices. There are also several USB ports that worked great for us, could charge several devices as once This voltage converter has a long enough cord (5 foot) to set it either on the floor, a shelf, a desk or a dresser to allow all your devices space to easier plug into it. Very compact for what it can adapter for and has a carrying bag to keep everything together.

This item works good. But if you are hoping to use it for a hair dryer, it won't work. That is one of the reasons I got this. But in small print on the instructions it recommended not using it for that. I did try it anyway. And it will not hardly give it any power. Barely came on. I am disappointed about that but it works great for changing my phone and computer.

We've ordered lots of these for family and friends and we have yet to hear about one of them failing. My wife organizes a travel group so they get a lot of use. Several times we hook our USB C charger up to it that charges multiple items as well as plugging into the converter at the same time. I am very pleased with the performance for the value and will continue to recommend this item for people we know.

Best feature: The included cord fits standard US outlets directly, so it is MUCH better than other options. Adapters for international travel work flawlessly. PROS: International adapters are all included and fit well; no loose connections. Enough power through the converter to work with curling iron or flat iron without issues. The 4 USB outlets come on as soon as the item is plugged in so the power button/converter remains off until needed, saving vampire power. All the USB outlets are high power and the USB-C will charge tablets natively. Standard cord can be replaced easily with a longer one. See CONS. CONS: Supplied cord is kind of short. This is easy to change by using a longer standard cord that is readily available. All adapters will function with simple longer cord. This is NOT the case with other models. NOTES: I used this for three months while traveling throughout Europe. This version was much better than the one My friend purchased for more money. The cord that came with his had a non-standard male end that required specific adapters that were not readily available. One of his broke and rendered his useless fit half the trip. This one has the most adapters included and it came with a nice carry bag that fit everything nicely. WOULD YOU BUY AGAIN & WHY: I would surely purchase this exact model again if I ever needed to. I have recommended this specific model to family and friends who plan to travel next year. I plan to give them as small Christmas gifts because they are so useful as a nightstand charger just for the USB connections and then can be brought in trips when needed.

I went to the uk in September and this worked perfect I knew which end to take and using it was simple. It charged everything (phone computer iPad watch and callus remover) the converter worked perfectly I didn’t end up with a fried phone. I highly recommend this.

Germany electric outlets are round. The ALLWEI International Travel Adapters in this package are all square. The square shape didn't fit in the round hole. When I returned to Germany a few months later, I purchased the "OREI American USA To European Schuko Germany Plug Adapters CE Certified Heavy Duty - 2 Pack" product -- these fit perfect! If I needed the voltage convertor feature or the USB ports, I used the OREI adaptors with the ALLWIE Travel Adaptor. Otherwise I just used the OREI Adaptor by itself.
