I have 5 already in use. This plant had a different brand with pink and blue lights and I hated it, and it wasn’t sturdy. I love that these clip so they don’t lean over. They are super sturdy and I can adjust the height and angle from the plant. I love that its white light and I can dim it. I use the timer for all mine and they work perfectly. Absolutely recommended. The clip is very strong and the light can be dimmed. The timer was a bit confusing. On the timer switch it says 12h/6h/3h so I assumed that when you press the first time it would be 12 hours, then 6, then 3. It's actually opposite. So when you press the button once it sets for 3 hours, press twice for 6 hrs, then 3 times for 12 hours. The company was on the ball & actually contacted me with the option to send a new lamp (before I realized my mistake). I appreciate their offer but it's working for me now. ... show more

Nothing beats sun, but these babies are putting out 2000 at the head, so you can get a ton of light for plants like succulents that really need it, if you keep them close. These also don't get hot like some of the big-bulb versions. Honestly, best clip ever -- it's bent to take into account the thickness of the thing you clip it to, so it's way more stable than a lot of others. Overall, a great light if you need a couple of your plants to get extra lux up close and personal; no replacement for big bars in a shelf system, but will definitely help you delude yourself that you're not headed that way... :) ... show more

This light works perfectly! It clips safely on the pot, has a flexible pole and a long cord. The light has multiple timing options and is also dimmable. After using it for just 2 days a new sprout had grown over an inch! Definitely worth the investment for your plants.

I love these lights, I have four or five now for added light for plants that need it or are in darker corners of my home. I love that they are bendable but lightweight so they are not pulling down on my shelving or anything. They provide ample lighting, and my light meter agrees !

It's a great light with dimmable capabilities. Sleek design and light is strong enough to cover a shelf. The only downside is that when you turn off the light, a bright blue night light turns on. Kinda annoying if you have it in the same room where you sleep. You do have the options of unplugging it, which does turn off the blue light. This just means its an extra step instead of just pressing a button that would just turn off the light. ... show more

This grow light is the bomb. It is exactly as pictured and described. Everything works properly, and I really appreciate the choice of 3 timers (3, 6, 12 hours). The clamp that attaches it to the planter is very strong. It will grasp onto many different pot thicknesses. It arrived quickly.
