Color-Coded Convenience in One Handy Jar – A Solid All-Around Bungee Kit I didn’t realize how many random tie-down situations pop up around the house until I had a full assortment like this on hand. This ELEAD 33-piece bungee cord set has quickly become one of those “why didn’t I get this sooner?” additions to my garage shelf. First off, I really like the variety. You get multiple lengths (10", 18", 24", 32", 40"), plus mini cords, tarp ball ties, and even tarp clips. It covers pretty much everything from securing a tarp over patio furniture to keeping storage bins from shifting in the back of an SUV. I’ve already used a couple of the mid-sized cords to secure items in my truck bed and the smaller ones for organizing extension cords and garden hoses. The cords themselves feel sturdy. The rubber has good elasticity without feeling flimsy, and the polyester outer jacket seems like it will hold up well to regular use. The hooks are vinyl-coated, which I appreciate — especially if you’re attaching them to something painted or to your vehicle. They grip well once in place and don’t feel like they’re going to slip off easily. One of the underrated features is the color-coding. When you’re in a hurry and digging through your garage, being able to quickly grab the right size without stretching it out to check is surprisingly helpful. The clear storage jar is also practical — everything stays together instead of ending up in a tangled pile at the bottom of a toolbox. A couple things to keep in mind: this is a general-purpose set, not industrial-grade ratchet straps. For extremely heavy loads or highway hauling of serious cargo, I’d still go with ratchet tie-downs. Also, as with any bungee cord, you’ll want to be mindful of recoil when stretching them — they’re strong, and snapping back can hurt if you’re not careful. For everyday use — camping, moving light items, securing tarps, organizing gear, or just keeping things from sliding around — this kit offers a lot of versatility for the price. At under $15 for 33 pieces, it’s hard to complain about the value. Bottom line: A well-rounded, good-quality assortment that’s perfect for everyday tie-down needs. Not heavy-duty industrial gear, but an excellent, affordable kit to keep in your garage or vehicle.

I ordered this roll of 1/4" heavy duty black bungee cord in order to replace the older bungee cord on multiple kayaks. While the original bungee was 3/16", I chose 1/4" for its slightly larger size and strength. The roll arrived in great shape on the plastic spool displayed which made it very easy to feed out the lengths of cord I needed and prevent any entanglement (occasionally a problem with folded lengths). I used the entire spool to replace all the decking cords - and some seat cords- on 5 kayaks. The quality of the cord was excellent and consistent throughout the roll. I am very happy with my purchase.

The original cords on our kayaks had lost their stretch and this was exactly the right size for what we needed to restring them for holding down towels and other gear. Knotted the ends once the cord had been run through the brackets and used a small torch to melt the cut ends sealed. plenty for other storage projects holding gear in the boat house. Should last several years, plenty of stretch compared to what was the original. Great deal.

Handy bungee cords to keep in truck. Great assortment of sizes. A couple have broken when stretched out so be sure to use a few when securing down items. Overall good product for use on small things. Not the best quality but they were cheap enough to try.

They actually are heavy duty. There is a good wide assortment of sizes. They have good tension and stretch. Good price for what you get.

It's stretchy and has hooks. It's green. and black. And affordable. And long. I didn't lose an eye, so it's safe, at least to me. You can use it for anything you need that requires stretchy cords with hooks, so it's versatile. they come in a pack, so if one breaks, you have more- so replacement is not an issue... boom. buy it already. its a bungie.

Just what I needed to improve the tie down set up on my tent rainfly & tarps. Eases the fabric strain when the wind picks up & reduces the opportunity for tears.

Out of the box these bungees were great...I was glad because I bought 2 sets. They seemed well made, had good tension and the assorted sizes were just what I needed to help position my new sun sails (paracord held them up). 2 days after my return window closed, these bungees were finally tested. We had some uncommon high wind the other night, and the next morning I was shocked to see the mess. The picture shows what I found.... it's not everything I'm missing. Somewhere in my hood, my neighbors picked up the missing pieces. Bottom line? These are great if they aren't put under a lot of stress.
