This looks good and provides a decent amount of warmth. I wouldn't recommend it for freezing weather, but I'd say it will keep you comfortable at least 10 degrees (F) below your normal comfort level if you are a reasonable distance from it. The product was easy to assemble. Mine arrived with a cosmetic defect on the glass top. I contacted customer service, showed them a picture, and they promptly sent me a new top. It was refreshingly easy to work with them. A few caveats: - The included glass "rocks" are ugly and rough to handle. You might think about upgrading these. - At full output, the flame can get pretty high and can get blown pretty far towards the edge of the table with a good gust of wind. You should definitely consider getting a wind guard. Unfortunately, these are hard to find. - The starter is mechanical. If you've started an older gas fireplace or hot water heater pilot light, you'll be familiar with the process. If you're used to electrical starts, you'll be a little spoiled. ... show more

I wasn’t sure but for the price I figured we’d give it a try and I absolutely love it. I haven’t had any of issues with the ignition and the glass finish is beautiful. I would however highly recommend buying the wind guard and cover that match this fire pit

The media could not be loaded. I can't say enough about the quality of this table. Solidly built and excellent directions. Comes very well packaged. Make sure you don't cut the strapping on the top glass part, until after step 6. I had this unit put together in 30 minutes. I put a moving blanket on top of the box it came in and assembled it on that. Have an extra pair of hands to flip it over for safety when finished. Had to order the 3 piece set (wind guard, cover and glass lid) from their website as it was not in stock on Amazon, definitely worth it. I also ordered the Aqua Marine glass, as I didn't like the looks of Arctic Ice glass. The only issue I would have is that the glass you buy only comes in 10 lb jars and the unit calls for 15.5 lbs. (I would say it needs closer to 18-19 lbs.) I lined the bottom of the burn pan with approximately 8 to 9 lbs of the Arctic Ice glass that comes with the table, then put the 10 lbs of the Aqua Marine glass and it fits perfectly. It fired up first shot and works great. Some of the reviews I read complain about the cover, it fits perfectly. Take the wind guard off and put the glass lid on, then cover it. It's not rocket science. Also, I contacted customer service with a question before I bought it and they got right back to me, very nice and helpful. Don't think twice about buying it. ... show more

We have had our square table for 6 months. Our table is on a cover deck so its' not exposed to weather. Picked this table because of the aluminum frame, black glass top and clear fire rocks and glass pit cover. Kinda wish it had absolute black granite top option :) Also ordered windscreen and cover. All of it is well built and easy to assemble, just follow the instructions. Engineering appears to be simple. Love the storage area for the glass cover. Easy to clean. Only thing I am wishing for now is a heat deflector. Not sure which one I want. Will keep shopping. Cover and windscreen are well made. Ignition is not always immediate but I would say that is true for most other outdoor ignition systems. Highy recommend ... show more

I purchased this propane fire pit table 3 1/2 months ago, mid-June, when I decided I needed some nice backyard relaxing ambience. I have not had one moment of regret. I searched for months at all the local stores and online for similar tables. This was the nicest table for the price. I love the upscale look of the beautiful reflective table top as well as the dark brown, wicker-like base. It came within days of ordering it and was easy to assemble. We have had some great times around this table with family and friends. The accessory kit was unfortunately on 2 months back order but I am happy I now have the glass lid, wind guard and protective covering. It does not always light up on its own but always lights with a fire lighter so not a problem. I would like to mention that Outland Living, the company that sells this table, stands behind their product and is exceptional with customer service. I noticed some flaws in the table top and they offered to send me a new one. (The sectional pictured behind the fire table is from HOM Depot. I love that too!) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This table is beautiful. With that said, I had to return the first one. Box was a mess, and the box where the element sits was dented. New one is perfect, except missing the two screws that hold the element to the table top. Thank goodness I have great neighbors that are handy. Easy to put together but you really need two to lift; the top is heavy and awkward. I ordered gray, box said gray, table most definitely not gray. Bummer, but do not have the energy to return. Definitely buy the glass cover directly from Outland, free shipping. ... show more

This is a very well made fire table. More than I had hoped to pay but well worth the cost and the customer service behind this product is the best I've seen in a long time. They quickly handled a small issue with mine without question and promptly emailed me to inquire as to my satisfaction. Excellent. I went back and purchased the options kit afterwards and am so glad I did that. I think the glass surround enhances the brilliance of the fire by reflecting it. Will also use the glass top to keep out dust. If you are going to purchase the options kit, be sure to not put your table together in advance. It is best to install the guide that holds the lid as you assemble the fire table. No problems with ignition at all so obviously the company has fixed prior issues that had been expressed in reviews. I ordered additional fire rocks from Amazon that I believe enhance the beauty of our fire table. You can see those in my photo. They are the highly reflective, 1 inch, clear fire rocks. We put a small amount of the coarser looking and sharper edged fire rocks that came with the unit underneath the more rounded and polished ones and it worked out beautifully. Highly recommend this fire table. We are really enjoying it. Love, love, love the black glass top. Very classy. ... show more
