The media could not be loaded. The string lights are unique. Iโ€™ve never seen any lights with the Crystal bulb in the middle. It adds a lot of interest both when they are lit and even when they are not. When they are lit the crystal bulb inside really looks beautiful. The color is extremely warm. It actually borders on being an amber color. It looks great with my flame solar lights. The app is great. Once I opened up the app with the QR code, I discovered they were so many features. These are pretty much idiot proof. I can set a timer when I want these on and off. I can also adjust the brightness and choose one of the three modes to use. I personally love the breathing mode that feeds in from bright to dim. These were a super easy to install. They are extremely lightweight since they are plastic. And the cord is not heavy at all. There is the option to get a second set. You can daisychain them together very easily by removing the power supply to the second set. They simply connect together and are protected with a waterproof cover. They also have a small hole in the plastic bulb. This is fantastic because they donโ€™t build up condensation. So they will always look crystal clear no matter the humidity outside. Thereโ€™s three ways to operate these lights. You can control with the manual on off and mode button on the actual strand of lights itself. You can also use the remote control that accompanies it. It has many of the same features as the app. But, the easiest and fastest way for me to do everything is on the app. The app is very intuitive and easy to use. ... show more

This is my third different attempt at stringing lights around our pergola. My previous two string brands were both solar-powered, which I'd thought would be great because they didn't use any electricity. The first brand's strings completely died after 18 months. The solar-charged batteries were not removable or replaceable, so it required completely new strings (major pain). I attributed that to the brand and ordered a different brand's solar-powered string lights. Those ones lasted 13 months, and also did not have a replaceable battery. Not only did neither of the solar string brands last, but even before they totally crapped out, their bulbs stopped getting as bright as they had when they were new. So I gave up on solar lights and bought these, plug-in lights. I am so thrilled with the look of them; the fact that they always reach full brightness, since they're not powered by a waning battery; and the ability to dim them and set them on a recurring schedule through the app is a freaking amazing bonus.
