Originally bought them to string around my front yard, but the weather here has been so bad that I’ve had to move them indoors to place them as accent lighting around my living room. They withstood tons of rain before I conceded, though, so I think the weatherproofing seems legit. I’m SO happy with how they’ve turned out, I may just get more lights for the outdoors separately! The description does not joke about these lights being stronger and unbreakable. They are so sturdy even when I was swinging the lights around. These ended up being some really nice lights. They are spaced wide as you can see in one of the pictures, but you can bunch them up to create a smaller display. They are the type of lights that are nice to have on the back porch, patio, or yard. Not real bright but enough to make it feel comfortable. The bulbs are a shatter proof plastic type bulb so no worries about breaking them. At 52' you can string these almost anywhere. The other thing that is nice about them, each bulb has a opening at the top which gives you plenty of options for hanging them. The set came with an extra bulb and black wire ties. The product worked as advertised although when they arrived it looked as though Clark Griswold may have packed them. They were wrapped in one long continuous tangle. Once I was able to unravel them I noticed that the power cord seemed quite small And for an indoor outdoor product you would think it would have a grounding access on the plug which it doesn't. Once installed they seemed to work fine they lit up the area nicely. I would buy again just be prepared to unwrap them like leftover Christmas lights. ... show more
