The brightness and overall look are solid. They give off a warm, inviting light and cover a good distance with the 100 ft length. Installation was straightforward, and they hang well without sagging. The issue I ran into is reliability. At times, they’ll randomly turn off or switch lighting sequences on their own. It doesn’t happen constantly, but often enough to be noticeable—especially when you expect them to just stay on one setting. After a few uses, it started to feel unpredictable, which takes away from the convenience, especially for something meant to be set and left alone outdoors. Compared to other string lights I’ve used, these look just as good but fall short on consistency. For the price, they’re a fair value if you’re mainly focused on appearance. But if you want something completely reliable that stays on without interruption, this may not be the best option. If the random shutoff or mode changes aren’t a dealbreaker, they still create a nice atmosphere. ... show more
