This is NOT a charger, just a MagSafe holder. The construction and mounting is much more stable than the vent-mounted MagSafe charging phone holder, however. The MagSafe magnetic holder piece has a different configuration from the MagSafe magnetic charger/holder purchased previously, but the actual MagSafe magnetic charger/holder unit does fit onto the base for the dash/windshield base. So YAY and I can still use the 6-pin cable to listen to the iPhone through the car speaker (no Bluetooth in my car). ... show more

Super good adhesion to windshield so far. We'll see once the temps get warmer. Good adjustability. Will need to see how well the various fittings hold the phone where I want it. Magnet works well through my Otterbox Fre waterproof iPhone 15 case.

The moment I connected my phone, the stand could no longer hold the weight and the “adhesive” (being generous as it doesn’t hold whatsoever) came unstuck and right off making the stand fall. This thing is not compatible with Otterbox iPhone case! I bought it figuring that Otterbox would make a magsafe iPhone holder that I could use for my iPhone, which I keep in an Otterbox protective case. Nope. This thing won’t hold my iPhone unless I take it out if the case. Not doing that.
