this is the third such type projector that we have tried from amazon -- and wow this is totally and palpably a clear step above the others. Whatever the specific gauges are by which these items are measured, the higher LMS etc make this picture WAY WAY sharper. We used this in our basement chill room -- on NYE ... using a 154 inch wide projector screen. It looked stunning from the second we turned it on ... and the chiefs game popped up. made the ball drop later that night soooo fun. The setup was a cinch -- took about 2 mins to screw in the stand, turn it on and focus. We'll only be using this with our apple tv for the most part, but was just as smooth with bluetooth on the kids devices. Total score and suits our purposes perfectly. Kinda amazing to have a secondary + home theater situation for this price at such a high quality image.

This is the second projector in the $100+ range I've tried. There are some pros and cons with this one, but I got it for $90 on sale with coupon. Pros: manual focus ring, I like that, I can dial in the focus. Good picture quality, brightness is decent, connects to Wi-Fi easily. Cons: out of the box after you set the keystone correction the screen goes wonky when you connect via HDMI or Miracast or even try to play a video off a USB drive. You must download and upgrade the firmware. I had to search and find this page. Scroll to the bottom for the download link and instructions: https://o-touch.com/products/otouch-projector-native-1080p-5g-wifi-bluetooth I had to factory reset the machine and it upgraded the firmware. It wouldn't work trying to upgrade via USB using the settings menu upgrade option. Customer service eventually got back to me but I had figured it out by myself. So now the keystone correction stays put. There is no Play Store or option to add apps, so you're stuck using the built in apps if you choose to do that and not mirror a device. But that's what I use it for, I'm going to use HDMI directly and just mirror my computer. So for $90 the picture quality is good enough. Also I have it like 8 feet from the wall but the picture is only like 4' across the diagonal at 100% zoom. I do wish it was a little larger.

I've tried 3 different projectors over the past year, and all 3 of them have been pretty okay for the price, but this projector is absolutely hands down the best one of the three I tried in this price range. First off, this projector actually comes with a little tripod stand and carrying case, both of which are incredibly appreciated. I absolutely love the included tripod stand and it makes it infinitely easier to project on a wall or at an angle using the tripod, so that's a huge plus that that's included. Also, the carrying case not only has room for the projector itself, but it literally ships in the carrying case and fits all included accessories, including the HDMI cable, remote, tripod, power cable, etc. Just an amazing carrying case (kind of hilarious that that's my favorite thing about this projector, but the other ones didn't have this and I found that to be frustrating, so I guess it makes sense.) Second, the projector itself is super easy to use, and I love the ease of using the keystone adjustment to angle the screen to look correct if I'm projecting at an angle or anything. Honestly it's super easy to use and the picture still looks great when adjusted, so that's been an awesome feature to have. Lastly, for me I think this projector looks fine as long as you're projecting on a lightly-colored wall and there's no lights on in the room. We tried using this outside, but even when the sun was setting and it was getting darker it was still kind of hard to see on the side of the house, so you really need a dark room to use this in. Overall I'd give this a 10/10 still and I definitely recommend it. It's definitely a budget projector, it doesn't get as bright as some out there, and you can't cast from your iPhone or use some fancier features other projectors have, but for just watching a video on a projector in a dark room or as a TV replacement, I think you cannot beat this for the price. Also I'd absolutely recommend this projector over almost any other projector in this price range, I think this 100% provides a better experience for the user than most others in this price point.

This projector has been so fun to use. It connects quickly and seamlessly with my phone for mirror imaging. The picture quality is great (watching in a dark room is best of course). It comes with a remote which makes it easy to focus - I should have paid attention to that in the first place. It also comes with a tripod and carrying case. The speakers are decent, not great bass but you can hear the sound well. It's great for outdoor family movie nights but maybe not for large gatherings. I was able to get the image to an equivalent of a 65" tv without losing picture quality. It's lightweight and the carrying case makes it easy to transport.
