I was constantly borrowing a schedule from my nephew. But the last time I bought it, he didn't have the updates. So I decided to invest in one. I found this to do everything I needed to do, and more. I've only used it once, but it does everything. I'm thoroughly impressed. Of how easy it is and the quality. And the information that it gives. I'm also impressed with its speed in its diagnostic process. If you're looking for a budget friendly option that has two years of free updates, this is it?I would recommend it to everyone who has a shop or does any kind of automotive work, including reprogramming keys and keybops.

This OTOFIX D1 Lite is straight pressure Plug it in and it gets right to work fast scans, clear codes, and live data that actually makes sense. Touchscreen smooth, no lag, and the updates come easy over Wi-Fi. I use it for real work, not just checking engine lights. ABS, SRS, service resetsit handles business. For the price, this scanner definitely holds its own against more expensive tools. If you need something solid, reliable, and ready to hustle, the D1 Lite is a no-brainer.

Fantastic diagnostic tool. Simple to use, powerful scanner. The Bluetooth connection makes checking bidirectional testing eaiser as you can take the scanner with you anywhere around the vehicle. This is my second one, the first one is still being used by my son and I have this one.

It is a nice diagnostic tool and provides much more functionality than the standard hand held code reader I've used. Bought this primarily to bleed the ABS brake system since it has an automated bleed function that runs the ABS pump in order to fully drain the old brake fluid. It connected to my wireless router/hub for downloads/updates. It did not auto-detect my VIN#, so had to key it in. It comes with a nice heavy duty plastic case, but the cutouts for housing some of the accessories could fit better. It'd also be nice if the iPad mini sized diagnostic tablet has a rear kickstand for setting on the ground. Finally, there were no meaningful instructions included, so had to download the manual, which is not very intuitive, but was able to figure things out. Also, the free download updates are good for two years after which it'll cost $119 for a year's worth of updates. But still, all in all worth the money if you have multiple vehicles and desire more in-depth diagnostics than just a code scanner.

Otofix Customer service is horrible. I called 15 times and messaged them and all I was told was that they would get right back with me. NEVER heard back!!!!!! It has been over 2 weeks and I ended up returning the item. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Will not recommend this product and will never buy from this company again. Amazon has been great and was able to help me with the return eventhough it was a few days past the return window. 5 stars to AMAZON---0 stars to OTOFIX!!!

This has been a quality tool for the price. It works well and has performed all the tasks I have required for many manufacturers models. The unit came with two years of updates wish happens frequently. The unit is not the fastest scan tool but has been adiquite and outside of updates performs quick enough. Updates are slow due to the massive size of the files needed to be updated. I have had to practise uodating the unit the evening before planned work to make sure I'm not waiting when at the vehcile requiring service. I would recommend for the price for performance.
