This does everything i need at a professional shop. It’s not the fastest but it got everything you need. The data pids are better then snap on and the bidirectional Control is awesome. Being wireless I can test under the vehicle and watch the results on this scan tool.

I was constantly borrowing a schedule from my nephew. But the last time I bought it, he didn't have the updates. So I decided to invest in one. I found this to do everything I needed to do, and more. I've only used it once, but it does everything. I'm thoroughly impressed. Of how easy it is and the quality. And the information that it gives. I'm also impressed with its speed in its diagnostic process.     • Impressive for the cost
First impression bulky container but sturdy, will protect scanner, charge scanner and obd2 adapter update both takes a bit of time but simple to register took 2-3 minutes to register pretty straight forward scanner protector sturdy yet soft to touch nice rubber feeling no slipping problem, comes with screen protector already, buttons are nice and sturdy need a bit pressure good for not pushing buttons by mistake, auto connect to obd 2 connector and auto scan works perfectly try with a Jeep product and had no issues with Gateway i was able to look and data for all the modules that the vehicle has try to actuate couple of functions via scan tool but unfortunately kept receiving communication issues exit BCM and try on engine control module or PCM same there all info was available with the push of a button takes a couple of seconds to access module data but once it access all data its available and readings are live with no lag, but not able to actuate any function with scan tool, will keep trying in other vehicle and update as i use it, try it with VW and connection was faster, gives an option to do coding, i was able to see soot level and last regen event, set to start regen at next driving cycle since its diesel, shows data from gateway module and was able to find dtc that i didnt with a regular scanner, impress for the price will try it more often and update with time ... show more

    • Nice Diagnostic Tool
It is a nice diagnostic tool and provides much more functionality than the standard hand held code reader I've used. Bought this primarily to bleed the ABS brake system since it has an automated bleed function that runs the ABS pump in order to fully drain the old brake fluid. It connected to my wireless router/hub for downloads/updates. It did not auto-detect my VIN#, so had to key it in. It comes with a nice heavy duty plastic case, but the cutouts for housing some of the accessories could fit better. It'd also be nice if the iPad mini sized diagnostic tablet has a rear kickstand for setting on the ground. Finally, there were no meaningful instructions included, so had to download the manual, which is not very intuitive, but was able to figure things out. Also, the free download updates are good for two years after which it'll cost $119 for a year's worth of updates. But still, all in all worth the money if you have multiple vehicles and desire more in-depth diagnostics than just a code scanner. ... show more

Highly recommend. Highly capable scan tool. Has option for battery tester as equipment add on that I will be utilizing in the future. Can view all the live data and service hot functions. Uses autel sign in and software is very user friendly

    • No vehicle coverage, junk waste of money!
1 year old only used a few times, now can not find any vehicle except for odd stuff nobody has. JUNK!!! Not worth the money no GM no ford no dodge waste of time and money I’m sure it will work it you buy a subscription And pay more money what a waste!!!

This OTOFIX D1 Lite is straight pressure Plug it in and it gets right to work fast scans, clear codes, and live data that actually makes sense. Touchscreen smooth, no lag, and the updates come easy over Wi-Fi. I use it for real work, not just checking engine lights. ABS, SRS, service resetsit handles business.
