I thought they would cover more ground, but I do have them facing slightly downward which of course would not spread the light. They charge fine, turn on when they must but one of them needs the moving object (usually my dog) to be a bit close. Was hoping for a little brighter light (pics on Amazon are exaggerated) and no way covers 1600 sq feet. to be fair, I don't have them next to each other however (like in the picture) so I'd say they cover a 10 X 8 foot area each in different parts of the yard. I like how you can change the angle of the lights - that helps. I had to use rope to attach to my chain link fence, wish there was a better way. ... show more

Lights work well until the seal starts leaking. An outdoor light should not have a seal that can leak. Called Amazon to replace defective part and because it had been more than a year (13 months) since it had been bought (only installed for 8 months) they would not stand behind their product. Tried to find contact info for Otdair and it is no where to be found except a Facebook page that is nothing but a sales page with no contact info. Sure miss the days when people were proud of their products and stood behind them. PIECE OF JUNK!! DON’T BUY!! ... show more

    • Decent lights for the price.
Put these on the corner eaves of my house. To light up the coons when they try to sneak in. Not sure what the range on the motion detectors are, but sometimes they pick them up, sometimes they don’t. If I walk by they pick me up every-time. They were advertised to have a higher lumen than what the box said they have. Which is why I bought these. However; they are bright enough for what I am using them for. They are very easy to install, and come with everything you need to install them. I left the little cheap screws in the bag and used some 1 1/4” drywall screws to mount them. I do like the amount of various positions you can turn the lights in. Very helpful instead of unidirectional. All in all I am happy with them for the price. We will see how long they last. ... show more

I felt that the earlier version from this manufacturer was better overall -- brighter and sensed motion better. But the main issue, as you see in the photo, is that birds seem to like the white dome-shaped motion sensor and peck it until it breaks. Once the dome is broken, motion is no longer detected, and the light is useless. This has happened to 3 of the 4 I've installed -- and I live in the desert, not a forest. So, until a model is made that protects the motion sensor better, I'm no longer a customer. ... show more

My neighbor hood pretty dark. I’m grateful for these lights. Keeps me safe. We have camera when person passes my lights going and cameras blink. Shows person there or not. Thanks again. I plan order more. For neighbor she likes them too. 😊
