    • Very stable, easily lifts my 800lb. VTX 1800, very safe as well. Great buy!
I purchase this to work on and clean my Honda VTX 1800C3. I wanted something that would allow for easy access to both sides of the bike and would securely hold up the 800 lbs. this lift easily lifts my bike up and holds it securely. It comes with tie downs that I used once but they were well made and useful. The lift itself allows me to grab the bike and hold it upright while using my foot to pump the lift up. I can easily get both my wheels off the ground and I feel very safe working on the bike. It has a safety rod that holds the lift in place even if the hydraulics failed for some reason. Very NICE! I didn't know this model came with this feature but it is welcome! The lift is fairly low and easily fit under my VTX even while it is on the kickstand. I believe it states the ground clearance in the listing but it is low. Releasing the lift is as easy as placing your foot on the release pedal and punching down. This bike is slowly lowered to the ground and then gently lean it on the kickstand. The lift is very easy to move around and is very well made. This is an excellent buy and works very well. I purchased the Torino TR6300 Creeper Seat with this and it makes it easy to sit and clean or work on the bike. Enjoy this lift and look into the Torino Creeper.     • Lift is great!
I have a 2020 Indian Scout and this lift works great! No assembly instruction as others have noted. Use the exploded parts illustration and a bit of imagination - took me about 20 minutes and one wrench to assemble. And also noted by others, it requires a light touch (and a hand on the handle bar for me) when lowering. But hey bikers know how to vary their foot pressure - we do it all the time with our brakes! The package arrived in excellent shape. It’s pretty heavy and large so a two person job is best. All the parts were included and fit well. No issues there. (Oh, and I got it PDQ - ordered on Monday, promised on Saturday, got it on Friday! No complaints!) I’ve had my Scout up on the lift a few times already (washing, fluid check, etc...) and she sits sturdy on it. I’ve even gotten on the bike and started her up while on the lift. Rock steady! I’ve moved her around after lifted, and all seems stable and works as designed. I had been all set to get a J&S lift. They’re pricey but have an excellent reputation. But with the Covid and shut downs, J&S was out of the picture. For about one-third the price, this lift is a godsend. Sturdy, it fits, works as described... now, if it will only last! ... show more

    • Well Worth the Cost - Superior Quality
Talk about a "Brick Sh#t-house" of a lift!! This thing is solid as can be!! I received the boxed lift and struggled to get it inside the house.... it's very heavy! I assembled this inside the house, as it was about 95° outside, but I digress. The assembly was simple; install the jack and foot lever (3 bolts total) then the support bar (cotter pins) and finally the support for the handle (2 more bolts). I'm confused by those who stated that the directions left a lot to be desired, as I never even glanced at them. (And, aren't you purchasing this lift so that you can work on your motorcycle??) You should be pretty handy to begin with.... anyway. This thing is sturdy as Hell, and I really like the long pads where the bike is supported. (Approx. 6" longer than my HF lift.) It rolls easily across the garage floor, which mine is a bit rough, and sits very low, giving me a lot of ground clearance to get under the bike. This also lifts the bike close to 17" off the ground, which will make it easier to change fluids and/or work on the bike. Did I mention it was sturdy?? There was no swaying or flesing of the supports or support beams; this thing is rock solid. Finally, you can't complain about the price on this one; it costs less than half of the two leading lifts they have on the market, but as far as I'm concerned, this works perfectly for my bagger - a 2015 Road Glide Special.     • Very good jack/lift for the cost
First, I read a lot of the reviews on the Amazon sales page before I decided to purchase this jack. I am a heavy equipment mechanic with over 30 years experience, and I am familiar with and use several OTC tools. I decided that for the price, this was a tool that was well worth the cost. It appears well made, all welds are complete, and all necessary parts were shipped. I have not owned other jacks/lifts for motorcycles, so I cannot compare cost to quality for other products. When it came (no assembly instructions as stated in several of the other reviews) I had no problems with assembling the few parts required to make it complete by using the parts sheet. A lot of the reviews also stated that the lowering mechanism for the jack was jerky when operated slowly, or dropped quickly when activated. I immediately tried jack operation after assembly to check this, as I had seen a simple fix for this that another customer had posted. After raising the jack (under load) to its max height and lowering it several times, locking jack at safety catch points, unlocking and lowering to the ground, I experienced no such problems with my jack. Although this lift has a sufficiently wide wheel base to safely lift a large bike (I own a Victory Cross Country Tour) I doubt that I would try to move the bike while elevated. I received exactly what I expected in this purchase.I would and will recommend this jack to anyone looking to purchase a cost efficient way to lift their motorcycle for maintenance repairs or cleaning. Nothing gets a 5-star rating that doesn't exceed expectations. ... show more
