Nice Christmas Gift
Color: Brushed Satin (Baldwyn 22pc)
Size: Knife Block Set (22-Piece)
I got this for my husband for chirstmas, he loves to cook and he was looking for a nice set of knives. He really liked this set. they look really nice, it comes with 22 pieces including the sharpener. They are very nice and not that heavy. In the instructions they recommend to do not use the dishaswer so we are washing them by hand. As a little tip I will recommend that when you was them dry them upside down since some water gets in the handle. The base spins it is a nice little feature when you are cooking. My husband is happy witht his purchase and me too. SIX YEAR UPDATE. We still love the set. Some knives got a little rusted but you can't even tell. Im lazy so now I do place them in the dishwasher lol. Very happy with the set

Nice set, great price!
Color: Brushed Satin (Baldwyn 22pc)
Size: Knife Block Set (22-Piece)
I was surprised how nice this knife set is. I was a little hesitant on ordering them but they are very sharp, look nice, and comes with a sharpener. I do hand wash them and dry them as you should any knife set. If you don't dry them then they will probably get rust spots on them as they are stainless steel and stainless steel will rust or corrode if not properly taken care of.

New Knives are the best!
Color: Brushed Satin (Baldwyn 22pc)
Size: Knife Block Set (22-Piece)
This is a nice collection, even with the fork. The one thing to remember about these knives is their handles are hollow so water will get inside. If they are tip up they fill up with water and it's like a faucet when you point them down. Learned that the hard way. I don't put my knives in the dishwasher, but if you do, tip down or lay flat or your will get an extra shower. They are not heavy. Due to the hollow handles all the weight is in the blade. I don't know how long they will hold their edge, I purchased an electric knife sharperner when I got these so they are sharp always. I don't see why I won't get a lot of service from this set. Like everything else in life, take care of it it may last. I've had more expensive but without a great sharpner, no knife, no matter the cost, is going to satisfy.

Looks good, doesn't last
Color: Brushed Satin (Baldwyn 22pc)
Size: Knife Block Set (22-Piece)
The block and knives look great and are comfortable to hold. The problem is the knives are poorly constructed. The tang is not full and is prone to rust with normal handwashing. The knives also do not keep an edge very well and require far more regular sharpening than other brands. If it is a beginner knife set or one that will be rarely used or is mainly for display purposes, it is fine. But for daily use, choose something different.

Better than expected
Color: Brushed Satin (Baldwyn 22pc)
Size: Knife Block Set (22-Piece)
The knives came individually wrapped in both cardboard and plastic - eliminating them from hitting up against each other in the box and dulling. That was nice. I have somewhat limited countertop space so the fact that the block swivels is very convenient. When not using the knives, I can swivel the block so it takes up less forward space. The knives and scissors are quite sharp. I've washed them many times from using them and have seen no rust as others reported. However, as with all my sharp knives, I do handwash them to avoid the rigors inside a dishwasher. I'd definitely recommend these knives if you're looking for quality knives and care to take the time to hand wash. I don't know that the dishwasher would harm them, but it's just good practice to handwash your sharps.

Knife Set Delimma
Color: Brushed Satin (Baldwyn 22pc)
Size: Knife Block Set (22-Piece)
I noticed how easy these start to rust. I haven't had them very long and I need to polish 2 of them already. :( they have to be 100% dry before putting them away. They were not that sharp; I'm not sure if this is the way they come and you have to sharpen them or they should be pretty sharp at purchase.

A professional looking set OF CRAPY KNIFES!, Very nice base with a swivel base mount
Color: Brushed Satin (Baldwyn 22pc)
Size: Knife Block Set (22-Piece)
Product came fast and was exactly like advertised with a bonus surprise! They don't mention that the butcher block has a swivel base and turns a full circle either direction, this could be a useful thing, the knives seem very sharp, was a little surprised by each of their weight as I am used to heavier knives, but as long as they stay sharp and don't fall apart I am happy, The price was great and it looks great on my counter. Never got anything on Amazon that I wasn't happy with yet! Thanks for yet another great product at a good price as that's why I found it and bought it!!! :-) UPDATE!!!!! I changed my review and after reading others it appears to be true... My set is nothing but a waste of money, they are very light weight and now I know why, the handle has nothing but a little piece of plastic in it. The tact connecting the cheap handles together rusted into and fell apart. the knifes rust to the point after they are pulled out of the holder you have to scrap them rust free or get poisoned and you have to sharpen them after every use. I am sooo surprised and disappointed in this brand as they usually make good products, well the designer should be arrested for this rip off design. Didn't even last 6 months and the only thing good and worthless is the black butcher block!
