This is the blue 30l unit, not the 15l that everyone complains about. Bought this to go with my 3018 clone with a swappable 5.5watt laser. No easy way to mount the nozzle, but it fits nicely between the laser body and the mounting clamp - not able to use to the head ring or the peel-and-stick mounting tabs. Works amazing well, and putting the tip as close as possible to the work surface allowed me to cut through 1/4" (6.7mm) red oak if I take it slow and use multiple passes. 1/8th paduke cut in two passes at 400mm/s. Before I couldn't cut anything, the smoke and dust were screwing things up and making a big mess. Now I feel like I can do more with my toy other than fiddling around with it. tl;dr: I'm pleased with it and seems to be worth the money, esp. if you get it on sale.

If you have an Ortur Laser cutter, you're going to need this air assist for cleaner smoother cuts. I bought my Ortur 3 and used it without the air assist and the burn marks we're pretty visible. I bought this attachment, turned it on and laser engraved for 2 hours and the cuts looked 100% more smoother and cleaner without all the residue burns without it. This is a must if you want that crisp look on 3D laser cuts!

I was sick and tired of the dark edges when cutting wood with my laser, and finally bit the bullet and ordered this. It has made a world of difference, and puts out a powerful stream of air! You wouldn’t think such a small unit could put out so much air, but it performs admirably. I had to do a few small modifications, because I have a head on my laser that doesn’t receive the holder it came with. This was easy enough, and it allows for modification if needed. I think the price point is good, and after looking at multiple brands out there I feel this one is on par if not above the others. I recommend checking this one out!

Works well, great output. Wasn’t sure on. The tip mounting. I used 3m command strips. Probably not the correct way but worked for me

Missing hardware, screws missing that you'll need to make adjustments for mounting to laser head..... idk why that was left out? Manual shows it should of been there. Also 4PCS screws for mounting the pump itself, again it's listed in the manual but wasn't included in my kit. The air volume is also extremely weak, heard something rattling around so took it about and guess what.... pieces of the pump, (impellers I'm guessing) came apart and just banging around inside it. I'm disappointed, won't be buying from this seller again.

I was thinking that this larger sized air pump would produce some substantial flow but it only puts out up to 16LPM. That may work fine for smaller lower laser power tasks. For more powerful cutting or engraving this may not be enough. I think this is a decent kit to get some air assist going but best for smaller setups. 4 stars.
