  • It’s big. And condensation happens
Color: Blue
Really big and easy to setup. Couple things to be aware of: 1. The entire roof is a screen. If you utilize the rain fly, and the temps are lower, there is a potential for condensation to form overnight from your breath and you may get dripped on the next morning as things warm up. For that reason, I would call this a 2 season tent that does better in dry weather. 2. The fabric around the zipper, and the zipper itself, needs to break in a bit to make things move smoothly. Some zipper grease is helpful. Add some Paracord to make a longer zipper pull. 4. Only one door. Not a big deal BUT that single door also only has one zipper. It should have 2. Not a deal breaker but less than ideal. 4. A 9x15 tarp makes a perfect footprint for this tent. 5. Don’t expect to get it back in the original bag, unless you’re a magician. 6. My gut tells me that this tent will not do well in heavy winds. The poles are fiberglass, the configuration of them on the tent, and the tent size will snap the poles, shred the tent, or both. If your summer camping and rain isn’t in the forecast I think this is a great tent. Cooler weather, or rain? There might be better options out there (due to condensation, the amount of screen, and zipper). All that being said: Hard to argue with the price and it performed admirably for the 4 day trip we used it on. ... show more

  • Great, simple and huge tent for the $
Color: Dark Green
I tested out this tent with a couple new air mattresses I got last weekend and the tent held up great! Setup for the first time took maybe 15 minutes, though I'm sure I can get it down 5 minutes or so next time. Material is very sturdy, at first I was worried about how taut it was when set up but the stitching is very clean and tight, and I think it can stand up to a heavy gust. Plenty of head room, places to hang your electronics off the ground and run electrical through. If you want to do some real remote work, bring a folding chair with a lap desk and set up your own office on the other side from the bed, tons of room. You could put two fulls and a queen air mattress and turn it into a bounce house for the little ones too. ... show more

  • Perfect for a large family!
Color: Blue
Okay so I’ve had this tent since August 9th and wanted to wait to write a review until it encountered heavy rain and strong winds which both occurred last night during the first severe thunderstorm since I bought it. I’ll jump into the pros and cons. Pros: -Very spacious -Room to walk around inside if 6’0 and under -100% waterproof in light and heavy rain with windows zipped up and rain tarp on(never applied waterproof sealant to it) -Comes with a hook to hang a fan/light on the ceiling -Pretty warm with the rain tarp on and the windows zipped up on a cool/cold night -Stays put in very strong winds -Set up time takes 10-15 minutes -Says 8 people fit but 8-10 is more accurate Cons: -The orange flap around the door gets in the way of the zipper at times so hold it out of the way as you zip and unzip Also, bricks or even multiple paperweights can be used to hold the tent in place if you don’t want to stake it into the ground. ... show more

  • Very nice size tent for a night outside with the family
Color: Blue
I love the size, color and customer service. Putting it together was a little challenging cause the instructions were not too precise. I would have loved a step-by-step tutorial video to ease the guessing and problem solving. Remember to stake down the tent to the ground/floor you desire first, then do the red, grey and black support poles. We took like a hour to get it together, but once we staked it down it was a go. Customer Support was good, and they got back within 48hours. Totally recommend the 10" Metal Forged Steel Tent Tarp Stake heavy-duty stakes to hold it up with more support. Looking forward to using it this fall and winter while it's cooler outside and not raining. ... show more

  • I put this up and took it down by my self, I was surprised it was so easy.
Color: Green
Took it to my son's first cub scout camp out weekend, and I was very happy with the tent. It was easy to assembly (solo) and it was sturdy enough. For the price point it is a pretty darn good deal from my initial use. I have not had it long enough to assess how well it holds up to use over the years. But I have no indications of future problems. I am a bit shocked it was so nice for such a reasonable price point. ... show more

  • Worked wellIn the rain
Color: Blue
We used this tent in some intense monsoon storms camping this summer in Arizona. We didn’t use any water proofing sealer because we ran out of time, the first storm we were in one of the roof seams def was allowing a small amount of moisture in even with a. Rain fly. If your Rain fly is not out on correctly the sides of your tent will get wet. As we knew intense rain and wind was coming we added an extra tarp To redirect water and protect us while camping and it worked beautifully. This tent totally stood up to the wind, but for intense rain you will need to water proof Outside and add seam sealers. Overall tho for the cost it is a good value item. My only issue was the front door only having one Zipper and the zipper is sticky. This should last us 2-3 years but I don’t see it lasting longer, if you’re using it more Often maybe less because of the zipper issues. ... show more
