  • Strut compression tool kit
Color: Black, Blue
Great Quality, work great

  • It worked. But bent right away…but they made it right!
Color: Black, Blue
The product looks nice and is packaged well. It shipped quickly. I used it to compress a brand new spring to assemble my strut. It still works, but one of the two threaded shafts bent. It was either like that upon delivery, or it bent after one use. Either way, I wasn’t impressed with that happening. HOWEVER, after learning of my issue, the company reached out and made it right. I was VERY IMPRESSED with that happening. With customer service like that, I’ll definitely be buying tools from them again. ... show more

  • Easy to use and gets the job done
Color: Black, Red
I am in the process of refresshing the suspenssion on my 2016 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. I was debating whether to rent this style tool from the local auto parts store or buy it. I obviously opted to buy it since I figure if I need to do more spring work in the future I will have this tool. This is easy to use and at least for me takes away the uneasyness of having to put automotive springs under compression. As long as you follow the instructions and use it correctly you should not have any problems. ... show more

  • Works well
Color: Black, Red
Works pretty good to compress my 2009 Volvo XC90 front springs. Held pretty well under the spring pressure.

  • They worked great for my Cadillac XTS front springs. I modded them for my convenience.
Color: Black, Blue
My strut mount was broken and I was able to replace it without removing the magnetic shock. You have to remove the fender apron (inner mud shield) to get access to the springs. You normally remove the entire strut, turn it upside down and then you rachet or drill drive the screws. I cut two five inch sections of conduit pipe (green) and mounted them as such that when I jacked the car up I could get my ryobi impact gun underneath to screw them down. Of course proceed carefully, there is a lot of spring pressure. Make sure you have the locks secured. I used a pair of vice grip pliers to keep the device from sliding. I wish I had thought to inspect the rubber/polyurethane upper and lower spring cushions. The lower cushion had a hole in it and the upper cushion was missing. They have these parts on Amazon for this car, nod wink. ... show more

  • Not for trucks.
Color: Black, Blue
You get what you pay for. I needed them for my truck these are clearly not what i needed to do the job. Truck springs will not fit inside the couplers. The threaded shaft bent easily and I mean bent. It was very sketchy at times but they never did break I will give them that.

  • No carrying case
Color: Black, Blue
Definitely would not have bought it if I knew it didn't come with a carrying case. It just has a cardboard box that will be destroyed in days of use especially if it gets wet.
