I have always used gas powered chain saws in the past and have been quite pleased with Husqvarna 16" 435. I have purchased a pole saw 5 years ago and learned how to use in on branches and small trees (10" diameter). With global warming, I have gone to using battery powered tools as much as possible and have now warn out my old chain. This replacement chain was extremely sharp when I installed it and really throws off large chips--similar to a full sized gas powered saw. We use this on our battery powered pole saw. After installing the chain we cut down a 12' high 4-5" dia dogwood,, limbed it and cut the pieces into apx. 3' lengths. Then we cut AN 8" THICK branch off our live oak, a wood that is VERY dense, limbed it into 9-11 pieces, cut another branch off one of our pines, admittedly pine is relatively soft, but it was almost 7" thick and we ended up with over 10 cut lengths. After all that, the saw was still flinging CHIPS and was nowhere near the "sawdust" cut stage. ... show more
