  • Tough box
Style: Case
Durable case my saw fits great with room for extra things like bar chain oil and 2 cyc oil.

  • Fits my Stihl 029 perfect.
Style: Case
Well made and very sturdy. Fits my Stihl 029 like a glove and has lots of storage space for the needed tools like the combo wrench/flat blade driver, files, spare spark plug, Oil for gas & bar, gloves, etc. I was a little unsure initially when I read a review from someone using a Stihl 029 and they had to modify the inside with a Dremel, but I didn't have to alter it at all. The other cool feature is that it has a flat top so I can store other items on top when transporting or storing in my garage. ... show more

  • Great Case
Style: Case
This case is great. It protects my saw and has room for spare chains, tools, and blade oil. I did have to buy another blade protector because I have a 26" blade.

  • Expensive, has Poor Paper Manual Storage!
Style: Case
For a $60 plastic chainsaw case, would think the manual storage area would be usable. Instead, has a couple of tiny diameter bungee cords inadequate for properly securing the documents! I commonly, like most users/consumers, package my paper product manuals into clear plastic water resistant bags. And the bungee cords lack any type of method of securing the plastic bagged paper manuals. Should return to a simple slit in the plastic case for document storage, with the added benefit of forever loosing parts & tools within the plastic slits until the parts & tools are never needed again! On the flip, the chainsaw box is nice and square for easy stackable storage. ... show more

  • Fits mt husqvarna 455 Rancher with 20" bar perfectly
Style: Case
Ive had several of the old style rounded shaped cases that dont fit anywhere. This square and stackable box fits in any spot in ur shop or truck. The thick walls make it very sturdy. The bar scabbord is removable so you can take the bar off the saw and put it in the scabbord and it fits in the box. Making it a perfecly square and stackable box for storage. Holds all nessecary additional items for ur saw in tight designated areas. I love it. Im going to get a smaller one for my 16" bar debranching saw. This thing will last for many years and handle the rough conditions that these tools are used in. A wonderful buy and great price. ... show more

  • Good deal on OEM part
Style: Case
Good price on this name brand case but I wish they offered it slightly wider to fit a full wrap handle. I had to swap to a skinny handle for the saw in this case.

  • Fits husky 440 with 18” bar just fine. I use it for storage only
Style: Case
The case is good for keeping oil from leaking out into the back of your truck or trunk of your car. But this is basically just an assembled husky branded orange version of the case made in black that requires assembly found on Amazon as part number 49MACASE953. Frankly it’s worth it not to have to assemble. That said getting the saw in and out of the case isn’t very speedy so I don’t use this at all except to throw spare chains filters and oil in during the season when I’m using this particular saw. I live in a remote heavily wooded area where trees fall regularly, sometimes blocking roads so I keep this saw in this box in the trunk just in case. And it’s great for that. Negatives: * clunky to get saw in and out. So when you’re working an arborist or logging gig it’s just too much hassle to put the saw in the case. For that I much prefer my Stihl bag which I use for my 462… but my husky is a great little saw and is my “spare” or arbortist saw because it’s lighter and I’d never climb trees with the 462 LOL * the tool holding feature molded into the plastic of the case I’ve found to be worthless. Even the tools designed to fit into the molded plastic just don’t fit in some cases—for instance the field clamp for chain sharpening. So my spare quart of lube oil and 2.6 oz 2 stroke bottle and a quart of premix and extra chain and files all just rattle around loose in there. It’s good to have them in one spot but even my Stihl bag has separate compartments to organize and hold these items much better and in a way that I really find useful. Stihl makes a lot of bags the particular one I’m using now is called the sportsman I think. Also I hear the echo hard case has useful sections for tools and whatnot but whatever this box works fine for what it’s for. ... show more
