it absolutely does not function. no clutch break so it’s unsafe. osha would not let it on job site It’s a piece of junk. Could not get any bar or chain to assemble. could not get it to go back together because the brake will not fit over the drive. I haven’t been able to use it once it’s a piece of garbage. ... show more

  • Excellent saw and value
I had to remove the clutch brake and reassemble it before use. But afterwards, this saw cuts and performs excellently. I am extremely pleased with how well it worked with 36" bar milling white oak and pecan in an afternoon. Update: After many months of use, this saw is solid, performs well and is solid! I would purchase again without a second thought. I've used it for ripping with an AK sawmill. It's made about 300 cuts between 28-32" and works perfectly every time. ... show more

  • Absolutely No Difference
I bought this 395XP “clone” with some hesitation, but am I ever impressed. This saw is IDENTICAL to any Husqvarna I’ve ever owned. It starts on the 3rd-4th pull every time, has tons of power in both the low and the top end, and the plastic doesn’t seem to be cheap at all. The saw as a whole, is truly the exact same thing as a Husqvarna. I had heard bad things about the oiler and the carburetor, so I was willing to replace these with OEM if need be. However, I’ve been extremely surprised, both of these “problematic” features which I’ve read about on line, and seen YouTube video about seem to be just fine. The carburetor does require some adjusting with a small screw driver, but all saws with a carburetor do. I plan on buying another one of these saws, in a different size, in the near future. ... show more
