Plenty of power runs good had user error first start and flooded it. But after enough pulls was able to get it running needed to adjust the tune to get to run idle but have got a tank through. Have only been able to make a few cuts but never bogged down when cutting yet. Intend to mill with it.

My review is in comparison to a stihl ms660. I will say that i have not had the chance to put a lot of hours on this saw, but the hours i have put in it i will review on here. aprox 20hr rev: be prepared to assemble. the saw runs great. oiler is high flow. gas tank seeps over extended amount of time. recommend to store empty unless you plan on picking it back up in a day or two. after two weeks tank will leave gas residue but nothing close to a big leak. maybe a couple ounces a week. can replace with oem stihl tank. all compatible parts. handle, and cord feel cheap. i used a 24” stihl bar and chain. would recommend a 25” oregon bar and chain. my setup runs great. hardly bogs in red oak. does great in pine. lots of power. maybe more than the stihl 660. sounds great runs top notch. would recommend changing to oem stihl filters and spark plug and cord and top handle over time. i have not had any issues with the holzforma yet despite gas seep. GREAT SAW FOR THE MONEY. would recomend to anyone starting out on the budget or if you need a big saw for special occasions. i would not be scared to run this saw 10 hours a day. but the exterior commodities on a stihl are much more sturdy and professional for daily regular use. never had a stihl gas tank leak at all which is why i gave it 4 stars. deserves 5 but my product does slowly seep gas ... show more

Works to help cut up a hickory that sort of laughed at the 60cc I was using. Takes a little to get up to speed but YouTube helped with that. Love this chainsaw.

I bought this to disassemble a 100+ year old oak that fell over, and can't justify the ridiculous price if a certain German company's equivalent product. The good, easy first start and for the first couple of hours (spread out over a month) of babying the saw through break-in it cut great. Chugs through fuel, but that's to be expected. The not so good, post break-in power fade is a <expletive redacted>. With both freshly sharpened and brand new "name brand" chains the saw struggled more and more to cut. Last use this 92cc saw couldn't keep up with either the Japanese 50cc or the antique 029 super, and barely out cut an ms211. ... show more

Needed a more power… LOTS more power for some big jobs around some property. This chainsaw absolutely kills it. I find excuses to run it now. Break in I kept the fuel rich 25:1 with Stihl synthetic oil. She runs like a top. Have taken some liberties and upgraded the spark plug to an NGK bpmr7a, and an OEM chain tensioner just because I heard these were potential weak points, but zero issues so far for me. ... show more
