This is a solid, sturdy watering wand with lots of spray pattern choices. Unfortunately, it lacks a bucket filler pattern, which is a solid stream at a lower pressure, perfect for filling spray bottles and other vessels with narrow necks; this is why I gave it only 4 stars for versatility. Good for everything else though, and excellent quality. Update: Caution - Bring it indoors during the winter: disconnecting it from the hose, opening the bail, and draining it completely still leaves a little water behind that can freeze and damage the wand. ... show more

I ordered a two-pack of this wand to replace the leaking ones that I've had for years. I am short so the length of this wand is good for me to be able to reach hanging baskets. There are a lot of different spray patterns, which are helpful. My only issue is that I use the "Flood" spray for most of my watering. On both of the wands there is a stream of water that shoots directly back a couple of feet (hard to see in the picture but that's what it's showing). This gets my feet wet, or if watering overhead it sprays back on me. If it were only one of them I'd return it as defective, but it must be a design flaw since it happens with both. It's also a bit heavy, but that's because of the length. Other than that it's a good product. ... show more

I was avoiding buying this wand because of the price. As it turns out, I am so glad I did. Solid build, does not leak, adjustable head with good reach. Everything I was hoping for. Saves my back and well worth the price. Would buy again.

Like many other reviewers, I've been frustrated by a long series of watering wand failures--trying out the offerings of all of the different local hardware stores and being disappointed either by their design or by how quickly they developed problems. So I decided I needed to shop on line and after reading the reviews selected this Orbit wand. I haven't had it long enough to know how long it may last, but I love it! I love the racheting head that swivels more than 90 degrees so that I can water hanging baskets without having to hold my hand above my head, and then move easily on to water plants in the back row where a very different angle is needed. I also love the "fireman grip" control. I'm used to a squeeze trigger control so I was sceptical about this aspect of the wand's design, but to my surprise it's a definite improvement. Using this on the deck, very convenient and multifunctional. I like all the different spray settings - "jet" helps wash away leaves and debris; "shower" is gentle on the plants, "center" is a good compromise for filling the wading pool. And I like that the head pivots to help reach different areas. And I like the handle - no sore hands from squeezing the trigger. Plus, easy to control (and be consistent about) the amount of water flow. Seems pretty sturdy and well made, though time will tell. Also, I was only expecting to get one wand, but it came in a package of two, so I guess I have a spare now - or a Christmas present! ... show more

This is by far the best Watering Spray Wand that I have had. The adjustable nozzle is very nice and the spray range is excellent. I usually have to replace others in a year or less. This appears very durable. I am very pleased so far.
