  • Great projector!
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
It's a really good projector if you want a huge screen. I get a 190" picture that covers my whole wall from 7' distance, and this is priceless. It also provides a great contrasty HDR. Better than some other DLP projectors I tried, and very close to my 4K HDR DisplayHDR 600 certified 32" screen. It does need some tuning though. I have a yellowish drywall. It's not a dedicated screen, low gain, so my settings are: Brightness: 5, Contrast: 9, Sharpness: 9, Color: 50, HDR/HLG: Auto, HDR Picture Mode: Bright, HDR Strength: 9, Brightness Mode: Bright, BrilliantColor: 10 I also tuned colors a little to negate yellow tint of my 'screen': Color Temperature: D75, Wall Color: Off, Red: -6 13 18, Cyan: 10 0 20, Yellow: -19 3 15, Magenta: 21 0 20. Don't forget to switch on 10 bit on your source too (I have Fire Stick 4K). And if you're on Apple TV switch Chroma to 4:2:2 (makes a huge difference, but you also need an HDMI 2.1 cable) It took me quite some time to figure out those, maybe it helps others. What I like about the picture that it gives you a depth sense. I tried some other brands, picture looked too flat. And even before tuning colors I liked its color reproduction. 5 stars, I really enjoy watching 4K/2160p movies on it. The games look great too, haven't tried Gaming mode, only using 4K/60fps and it's working out even for really hard and fast pacing games like Returnal (using Moonlight streaming over a gigabit ethernet). The cons are: slow menu (not a big deal), bad contrast out of the box, picture little darker than 3,600 Lumens. ... show more

  • Totally Junk!
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
its defective right from the moment I opened the box and started using....once I turned on, the projection was upwards to my ceiling even the projector was placed on table, tried alot to project straight but did not work and once i plugged my fire stick screen started flickering....not sure how people getting to use these Optoma projectors...very low quality projector i ever came through and considering the price point its a big joke...you do not see any details on the projector like model number etc., remote looks and feels very cheap and no branding nothing....I have returned the same day I received so you can just imagine how horrible my experience was...Optoma never ever! ... show more

  • Price for quality!
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
Absolutely amazing picture. Bright, crisp, and the short-throw lens works perfectly in smaller spaces. Runs quiet, easy to mount, and handles gaming/movies/golf sim equally well. Worth every penny for a home setup. Used it on my golf simulator provided by gosport (highly recommend for the price) Lots of adjustability and customization on the screen. For the price compared to others it was totally worth it. ... show more

  • White dots White dots
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
As soon as I turned it on, the projector started projecting white dots and as time went by it got worse until it looked like it was snowing.

  • Definitely NOT 4k
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
Picture looked alright. I tried to watch football but the picture didn’t look so nice. The green of the grass wasn’t very deep or rich.

  • Does the job from a short distance
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
I have this projector mounted to the ceiling about 5 feet 3 inches from screen which is projecting a 130 inch diagonal image. Does the job well, no major issues. My only complaint or note is that you need to account for the offset height and take it into consideration how high or low the picture will appear on your screen area. Since it doesn't have lens shift, you have to be sure about where your image will appear on the target area. ... show more

  • UHD35STX: Disappointed
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
Disappointed with the Product and Extremely Poor Customer Support I was initially satisfied with the UHD35STx projector — it worked well for about 20 days. However, it soon started showing display issues, with constant green and red lines appearing at the bottom of the screen initially adjusted after turning on game mode on/off Shortly after, the projector began making loud noises, even when in Eco mode. Sometimes, it would make a sudden, blast-like sound when shutting down, which was alarming. I reached out to Amazon support, but the experience was extremely frustrating. They only focused on the return window and offered no real help or solutions. Despite the listing claiming “product support included,” there is absolutely no meaningful support provided. I’m currently not satisfied with this product and extremely disappointed with the overall customer support experience ... show more

  • Complete junk
Size: 3600 Lumens, Short Throw
No Wi-Fi. No Bluetooth. Can’t watch in daylight. Update: completely failed after less than 6 months of actual use. By far the worst product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. Will never purchase another Optoma product in my life.
