I found them mostly easy to assemble. The only difficult part was removing the pole cap. They are very tight and do not just pull off. We had to resort to using a screwdriver and mallet to carefully chisel them off. Once together, they are very nice. They go very well with my small counter-height table.

These barstools are elegant and classy. Four will fit well underneath an extended bar area. The only issue is the wood is very delicate. So, the sides of the barstools will chip easily when hitting or rubbing against the bar granite.

Very attractive design. Easy to assemble except for the cap that has to be removed from the pole/rod before putting in seat- I had to basically cut it off. Comfortable to sit in, but not for very large people the way the sides angle up. We are happy with our purchase and it adjusts and swivels easily.

I agree with some of the reviewers giving 1-3 stars. The stools are comfortable, sturdy, and very easy to assemble. All the stools came from the factory damaged, however. I told the Seller, who was very fast to respond initially, sent me replacement parts (the faux wood was splintering and cracked), but unfortunately, the replacement wood on the stools were again damaged. If the stools were not damaged, then I would have been happy with this purchase. Informed the Seller again, and I requested refund. At this point, the Seller stopped responding so I had to file a claim with Amazon, who negotiated a refund for me. Thank you Amazon A-Z Guarantee
