As a long-time OnePlus fan, I had pretty high expectations going into the OnePlus Pad Go 2—and I’m happy to say it absolutely delivers. First off, the design feels clean and premium, very much in line with OnePlus’s signature style. It’s lightweight but still solid in hand, making it perfect for both casual browsing and getting real work done. The display is a standout—bright, smooth, and easy on the eyes whether I’m watching videos, reading, or multitasking. Performance-wise, it’s exactly what I hoped for. Everything runs fluidly, apps open quickly, and switching between tasks feels effortless. OxygenOS continues to be one of my favorite Android experiences—minimal, fast, and thoughtfully optimized for larger screens. Battery life is another big win. It easily gets me through a full day of use, and the fast charging means I’m never stuck waiting around. What really stands out, though, is how well-rounded the experience is. It’s not just good in one area—it’s consistently solid across the board, which is something I’ve come to expect (and appreciate) from OnePlus. If you’re already in the OnePlus ecosystem, this is a no-brainer. Even if you’re not, the Pad Go 2 is a fantastic option that balances performance, design, and value really well. This is a nicely sized tablet that is easy to carry around and use outdoors. Performance feels fast and buttery smooth. Sound quality is decent for watching videos though better to use earphones if you want to enjoy music. I charge it every few days so it seems to have good battery life. Its a rectangular tablet with clean aesthetics so not much to say on appearance. I got the pen to see if I'd use it though I don't find myself drawing much so I might return it. Overall, I think its a good tablet for what I paid and it makes for a good browsing device when lounging around indoors or outdoors. I think I prefer drawing on real paper when I am feeling creative. ... show more

First let me categorize my review title: "This screen ratio is the only way to go!" If you ONLY watch movies on your screen, then 16:9 is the reasonable choice because that is the most typical aspect ratio in television. And it better fits the more rectangular common movie aspect ratios. But if you read books, to surf the web, or do anything productive then the 7:5 is a pleasure to use. Things just fit better and text is sized much better for reading. However, I have a BenQ 28-in 3:2 aspect ratio computer monitor and I must say that is the golden ratio for productivity! There was a tablet in that ratio I would have gotten it. 'The dominance of 16:9 is truly a "cinematic tax" that forced nearly every office worker and developer to adapt to a screen shape designed for someone watching an action movie on a couch, rather than someone parsing complex structures on a desk.' - AI summary of the problem Android was the only other deciding factor on buying this. The only recent phone/tablet OS I've been using is iOS and I'm not a fan. The OS on this one plus is much more fluid to use! The other Android OS I've been using is several years out of date, so I can't tell what features of this tablet are Android specific and which are customized by OnePlus. In any case overall my usability experience is very positive. The gestures are easy to use and work out better than software buttons, though I prefer to have hardware buttons. The integrated reader mode is a really nice surprise! This mode simulates reading on paper making it easier on the eyes. I'd pay extra for that and it was included :-) ... show more

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is great, the problem is that they don't make good case for it. I had a iPad and the case they make for that are so much better. They product the pad much better and have great stand on them so you could watch it horizontal or vertical. I have ordered 3 case for the One plus pad and they are all pieces of junk. Someone needs to make better cases for them. ... show more

for a non flagship tablet it handles well it is efficient, battery is good even with heavy use and responsiveness is also good, I was expecting it to feel sluggish or slow when scrolling or simply when having more thna two apps open, but it doesnt have any issues like that even with multiple apps it never feels like that. I had other entry level tablets and flagship tablets and this feels like a great happy medium further away from the entry level tablets in terms of user experience.
