This tool just arrived today & took it in the yard thinking I wouldn't get very far as the batteries wouldn't be charged but was pleasantly surprised! Began working on the saw palmetto & less than an hour later I was finished with all the trimming of 8 palmettobushes. Used to take me several days with regular manual clippers. I am absolutely impressed with these clippers! It would cut through branches bigger than my thumb no problems. I continued trimming several other bushes in the yard & after an hour & a half, battery was still going strong. Comes with a handy second battery too & its own storage case. Theres even replacement blades. Very pleased with performance, light weight & ease of use. Other similar tools at big box stores were almost twice price & battery was sold separately! Be careful during use as there is no safety button!! Pull the trigger & it cuts!

I love the little Omola scissors. They are so powerful and easy to use. No more hard work, just press a button. They work on decent size branches. I would say 1 inch is a limit but you can keep cutting through on wider but softer material like agava leaves etc. I already have 2 of them, one for me, one for my husband.

Oh my gosh - this is worth it's weight in gold. You will not be disappointed if you buy these. I'm a gardening and yard work freak - and I'm SO thrilled I discovered these! Cheap too - so if it should happen that it doesn't have a long life - I will simply buy another one. Love that it came with an extra set of blades. I would NOT let anyone borrow this and I would NOT allow a child to use this. As awesome as I believe it is - I am VERY thoughtful and careful when using it. It could cut a finger off SO easy. This is a very serious awesome tool that should be used with EXTREME care!

Worked really well for a while. Just over a year from purchase, it died. No way of telling if both batteries were faulty, or if the unit itself burned out but it won't start. There's also no indicator to tell you how much charge the batteries have. Worse yet, no replacement batteries available. Too bad, I really enjoyed using the pruner.

These battery powered pruning shears are great!! They are light weight, powerful and easy to use. My wife (75) got carried away this morning having fun pruning until I made her come in because we were under a heat advisory. Otherwise she would have spent a lot more time pruning. The batteries provide good life, similar to a mini chainsaw (that I love) that I have from the same seller. We are very happy with the pruners. They will make a huge difference as we live in the tropics and vegetation just keeps growing. Never stops! They are so much easier to use than hand held clippers. Our older hands are very thankful for these. We highly recommend them.
