It's very good if trimming tree limbs. It's heavy for the tedious work of cutting those branches down to fit into buckets. I liked that I was able to get into the tree, close to the trunk. Long handled pruners are cumbersome. But, sitting down, trimming the limbs off the cut branches was very slow and I really started feeling the weight of this pruner. I resorted to manual pruners. Will keep it because I have 2 mulberry trees I want to annihilate! They will certainly come in handy for that job. ... show more

For the price these are totally worth it! They can really cut quite a lot - even though chainlink fence if need be! We are cutting down huge amounts of foliage around our property and these cut very well through small limbs and briars. My mom also has a pair -she paid twice as much as we did for another brand, and hers are faster. That is my only issue is that the cutting itself is fairly slow, but it does the job very well.
