These lights are perfect for my 8’ tree. The remote makes it simple to turn on & off and has timer. They have blinking, cascading, wave, & no blinking. They are easy to put on the tree due to how they are grouped together. So far very functional & durable. I have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the lighting is. *EDIT UPDATE* One of the 2 strings has already stopped working in less than a month so I’m returning them. They should hold up better than this. This is a very long string of lights. If I don’t order another set, it won’t look right but I don’t think they will make it much before Christmas. Torn as what to do. They aren’t cheap. They are bright and beautiful. I got green and red. SO Christmasy! I’ve always wanted to decorate the outside of our house in green and red. The only complaint I have is that only one remote worked. (I ordered 2 sets). Which was a bummer because the remotes weren’t interchangeable. Also, you need to be really close to the lights for it to work. My hopes were to remotely control the lights from inside but that didn’t work. Luckily, you can also change the motions of the lights from the button on the light string. ... show more

They worked out great for My Christmas Grinch Theme display. I was looking for some longer strings of LED with red and green lights that has some kind of twinkling effect and these lights worked out great! I did have an issue with one of my control function box that you have to plug your lights in with. One set of lights went out after about a week use so only half of my pole lights were working. After checking it out myself I found out the plug with the control box built in stopped working? I had another control box plug so I installed that and it was GO time again. I guess I got a bad plug in function box but the other one I had are from the same light set and it lasted throughout the whole month! It was too late to return the bad one but still giving this product a 5 star because everything in life you will come up with a dud once in awhile! Write down the control box plug specification numbers that's on the stickers on them and you can find them online fairly cheap! When the red and green lights are flashing quickly, it makes the display come alive!!! ... show more
