This car refrigerator works great. It comes with an ac power cord, and a dc power cord. So you can run it from a wall outlet OR from your car’s cigarette lighter outlet. I loaded it up with sodas and bottled water. It cooled everything down very well. I used an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature inside the fridge, and also the temperature of the bottles. This car refrigerator is very accurate to its settings. You can use the digital settings to dial in a particular temperature. It’s whisper quiet. I also hooked it to a watt meter, and it sips electricity at about 50 watts, and only has to cycle on periodically. ANY car can power this refrigerator through the cigarette lighter outlet. Buy this! It is a luxury item worth every dollar. It works perfectly, does not drain car/truck battery, you never have to deal with dripping or draining ice. This cooler was fantastic. Heavy duty - yet portable. At this price - you will save on greasy drive-thru food and can transport anything without it getting sopping wet. I've had this for almost a month now and it's running fine. This replaced another brand I owned the had been operating constantly for years, hopefully this will last as long. The one thing I don't like about this is that you can't adjust the temperatures in each chamber separately. You have two options, to take out the partition and have one large area that you can use as a fridge or freezer, or put in the partition and then larger section will be a freezer and the smaller section will be a fridge. You can't adjust the temperatures in the two sections separately, so you can't have a small freezer and a large fridge, and you have to keep an eye on the fridge temperature as it regulates the freezer temp only. When I had the freezer set at -4, the fridge would often drop below freezing, so I set the freezer to 0 and the fridge stays between 33 and 39. This would be a great unit if you take out the partition and only need a fridge or a freezer. ... show more

This fridge unit is great. First time ever trying one of these and it exceeded expectations Freezer area froze, and fridge area stayed cooled. Used on hour road trip south. Used cigarette lighter hookup in car to keep cool during drives and plugged into walls at hotels and campsites. Wish it came with internal battery option. Did draw a ton of power from electric battery bank. Functionality a little quirky, but served it's purpose keeping it simple. ... show more

So, first things first, the picture in the ad showing the freezer and refrigerator sections is not really accurate. The picture says the left side is the freezing section, and it shows the wheels and compressor on that side which makes that area smaller. Which is the way it is in pretty much every combined refrigerator freezer.....you need more fridge space than you do freezer space. The problem is, that's not the way the actual unit is. The left side is still the freezing section which gets colder, but the compressor and smaller portion of the space is on the right side, which is the refrigerator section if you are attempting to use it in dual mode. And the dual mode function doesn't work. The right side is never more than 9 degrees warmer than the left side, so when you set the freezer temperature to a safe freezing temperature, you're freezing everything on the refrigerator side too. I can tell that whatever sensor is in there to detect the fact that the zone partition is in place is operating, because when I pull the partition out, the temperature readings go to just a single one. But whatever processes that is supposed to make the refrigerator side be at refrigerator temperatures is not working. And plus, the freezer side has at least double the volume of the refrigerator side which is exactly opposite of how it should be. It's a shame, it's a pretty nice unit, it's really quiet, and the unit connected seamlessly with the Tuya app. I already had that app on my iPad because I have some other devices that use it. It works. Seems decent quality. Directions and app seem confusing and in broken English. Cooled down to 0 degrees in an hour or so from 66 degrees. I have a cross country trip using this for 9 days coming up. I will report back if it has any issues. Went in 9 day trip. Cooler worked great with one exception. I couldn't get the freezer portion to near 0 without it freezing the food in the fridge section. Maybe with more time I would get it dialed in to work correctly in both zones but not yet. This cooler was a game changer for our last 5400 mile road trip to the West Coast. We paid for our cooler on this trip. We brought a case of bottled water and sleeved lemonade and tea mix. We kept a small bucket of ice we would refill every night on the road from the hotel ice machine to put in our drinks. We packed it with cracker sliced cheese, lunch meat, sandwich sliced cheese string cheese, pimento cheese, carrot sticks, French onion dip, and cold brew coffee concentrate. Front seat passenger could easily reach into the cooler in the back seat and grab us a cold drink with ice and/or a snack or make a sandwich. Love the cutting board in the lid. It made making sandwiches so much easier while on the road. It kept everything crispy cool. Loved being able to monitor and/or change the temp from my phone. When we got home, we plugged it in the wall and now have icy cold bottled water in our garage. We have an EV and worried about it draining the 12v battery. We were gone for 2 weeks and never turned it off or removed it from the car. Didn't try dual zone function or using the plastic divider for frozen food.
