It works. Seems decent quality. Directions and app seem confusing and in broken English. Cooled down to 0 degrees in an hour or so from 66 degrees. I have a cross country trip using this for 9 days coming up. I will report back if it has any issues.

This is a great cooler! My husband and I are OTR truck drivers and we never have enough room in our fridge for everything we need. Since I prepare all of our meals on the truck, it's important to have sauces, spices, condiments, meats and veggies to eat healthy and properly. This fridge gives us what we need to allow that! The freezer section is bigger than the fridge section which is great because the freezer is what I needed most. This fridge comes with both methods of plugging in for power which frees up an outlet for an appliance that doesn't plug in via A/C. The lid also clicks closed rather than just seals like the other electric cooler I've gotten in the past. Downloading the app and connecting via Bluetooth was easy and quick! This cooler is much better quality than any other I've gotten over the years. I highly recommend this product!

So, first things first, the picture in the ad showing the freezer and refrigerator sections is not really accurate. The picture says the left side is the freezing section, and it shows the wheels and compressor on that side which makes that area smaller. Which is the way it is in pretty much every combined refrigerator freezer.....you need more fridge space than you do freezer space. The problem is, that's not the way the actual unit is. The left side is still the freezing section which gets colder, but the compressor and smaller portion of the space is on the right side, which is the refrigerator section if you are attempting to use it in dual mode. And the dual mode function doesn't work. The right side is never more than 9 degrees warmer than the left side, so when you set the freezer temperature to a safe freezing temperature, you're freezing everything on the refrigerator side too. I can tell that whatever sensor is in there to detect the fact that the zone partition is in place is operating, because when I pull the partition out, the temperature readings go to just a single one. But whatever processes that is supposed to make the refrigerator side be at refrigerator temperatures is not working. And plus, the freezer side has at least double the volume of the refrigerator side which is exactly opposite of how it should be. It's a shame, it's a pretty nice unit, it's really quiet, and the unit connected seamlessly with the Tuya app. I already had that app on my iPad because I have some other devices that use it. The app found in the fridge immediately and paired with it. It's too bad the fridge doesn't actually work the way it's supposed to.

Better than I expected. This cooler/freezer works beyond great and is so quiet you wonder if it's working. Bluetooth controls are way easy to use also. Cools from ,70° to 0° in about 30 minutes. Impressed 👍

For an upcoming 1200 mile trip, I wanted something to keep food cold without the fuss and mess of ice. The OLIXIS car refrigerator seemed to be the best choice. When it arrived, I followed the instruction to let it rest for hours after unpacking. Then, I read the easy-to-read instructions and plugged it in using the 120v option. The control screen lit up and I set the temperature. I could not tell if it were running and only by placing my ear on the device could I hear the sound of the motor. Very, very quiet! I then let it cool and it did so quickly - right to the set temperature. I loaded the related phone app and could see the temperature staying within a degree of my set-point. I used a remote temp probe and saw that the built-in thermometer was very accurate. I then took it out to my car for a test of its use in the car, using the 12vDC cord. I made sure the unit was level (a little shim under the down side was all it took). Again, the unit sprang to life with almost no sound. In a matter of minutes, not hours, it was down to my set temp (37F). I did observe that the cooling plate was in the bottom surface of the device. I ordered a simple 8.5 X 12.5 metal cooling rack to put in the bottom to keep items from direct contact with that plate and allow for better air circulation. (I do note that there is a small channel and drain valve in the floor of the device so any condensation can be easily drained away!) I will add that the unit is very well made and feels substantial. Its size will allow for just the right amount of items (which I will take from my home 'frig so they are already cool). While the unit has weight (which speaks of the heavy duty nature of its compressor), the built-in handholds make it easy to transport. Unlike many other portable refrigerators, the OLIXIS, with its dual power mode, will serve us well by going forward. At a stop at a motel, for instance, just carry in the unit, plug it into the wall outlet and we will have a mini-frig with us, with no need to unpack and pack our beverages and foods. Couldn't be easier. Very pleased I bought this!!!!
