  • It evens rolls on carpeting...!
Color: Navy Blue
I have been searching for an office chair for my home office that would provide me with the adjustments needed to sit for hours without feeling any pinching, poking, or other annoying behaviors I've found in all my previous chairs. The Oline ErgoPro just might be the one. Finally! It comes disassembled, but honestly - it took me just 30 minutes to put it together...and that includes a number of TV breaks that lasted at least 10 minutes. All tools and screws needed to hold it together are included. Instructions for assembly are clear and idiot-proof. This chair allows for adjustment of all the usual: seat height, recline angle, and arm rest angle and height. It also comes with a non-adjustable headrest and lumbar support. The lack of adjustment for these two features does not diminish their effectiveness at all. The lumbar support is integrated with the "backbone" of the chair and does not require assembly. It has some kind of spring-tension that responds to your body's pressure: The more you lean against it, the more resistance it provides. Works for me! The headrest is in a fixed position that does not interfere with your posture in any position. In fact, I think it's there only to provide support when you lean back. Although the chair allows for the recline position to be locked in place, I really like the amount of spring-tension that is built-into the chair's reclining motion. I am 5'9" and 165 lbs and the pressure needed to recline is just perfect for me. That's the only time I lean against the headrest. Perhaps the best feature on this chair has nothing to do with comfort - but roll-ability. It comes with 3" diameter wheels that roll easily over carpeted floors...just like the one in my home office! No more having to deal with those crappy plastic floor sheets that crack and splinter. So, yay! I have been working on writing a trilogy about my family - but have been using the inability to sit for any length of time as an excuse for not finishing. Now, I have no more excuses: This Oline ErgoPro Office Chair is perfect for me! ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Color: Grey
I am very pleased with the ErgoPro chair. It was quite easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. It took about 20 minutes to put together. The chair looks great, I got the grey color which looks sort of silver-y and works great with the chrome accents, legs, and arms. The chair is quite sturdy and I don't foresee any durability issues any time soon. I'm 5'8" 200 lbs and the chair pretty much fits perfectly. The lumbar support does wonders for my posture. 4D armrests that adjust how you would expect 4D armrests to adjust but I like how wide they are, giving me plenty of room to fit my elbows and forearms comfortably. The rollerblade wheels are an added bonus. I feel they are superior to the standard wheels you get on most chairs on pretty much any surface, but I always hesitated to buy a set previously because the standard wheels, while inferior, were good enough that I had a hard time justifying the expense. Having the chair come with rollerblade wheels takes that added expense out of the equation. The chair is quite a bargain at the price I bought it at, it feels like a chair that should be significantly more expensive. ... show more

  • Not comfortable, well-made but badly designed.
Color: White
At first, I thought this would be a great share. The materials and construction are very high quality but after using it for several days, I've determined it's poorly designed and not comfortable for more than a few minutes of sitting. I was looking for a new chair because I thought I needed a better lumbar support, but I realize now that there are a lot of really badly designed chairs out there. First off, these so-called lumbar support is more like a sacral support as it is too low to even reach my lumbar area. And it can't be raised up. If I were to redesign this chair, I would make the lumbar support twice as tall as it is, and the upper back support half as tall as it is. Secondly, while the seat is springy, there's not much cushion to it once you are seated. The effect is it's very firm, almost hard. It's also curved front to back in such a way that it puts a lot more pressure in the middle 3/5 of my thighs, causing considerable discomfort after about a half an hour to an hour of sitting, necessitating me needing to get up and walk around for a while. That being said, I am 5 foot 10 and 150 pounds, so I don't have a lot of padding on my thighs. Seat tip: If you can't depress the foam of the seat more than an inch, then don't buy it. I thought this mesh chair would be comfortable, but it's actually similar to hard foam. btw, the mesh feels cool to sit on. I used it for about four days to give it a good chance, and then switch it back to my old chair which I wisely kept in a corner. This is a white office chair I got at IKEA for $70 a few years ago and I find it is much more comfortable. No, they don't sell it anymore. I find the difference is that in my old chair to seat is completely flat and the foam compresses a good 2 inches and I press on it with my hands. If this whenever needs that I may just have it reupholstered unless I can find a really good chair, now that I know how to recognize a comfortable chair better. I had great hopes for this chair, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to send it back. Fortunately, I paid close attention to how it was packed and even took pictures as I was taking it out of the box--and kept all the packaging. I did this because I've had two other chairs I've ordered that turned out to be badly designed. I really wonder if these companies actually test their new chair designs on human beings before they start manufacturing them. My tips are that you should get a chair that has a very flat seat platform, not too shallow front to back, as much foam cushioning in the seat as possible, and a lumbar support that is soft and actually high enough to align with your lumbar. You might want to go to a large office supply store where they have 20 or 30 office chairs so that you can sit in them for a good long time and see how they feel. I would prefer not to buy a chair I had not sat in first. ... show more

  • Big people dont fear
Color: White
I normally use the nice large gaming chairs, well due to im fat. I wanted to try something different and liked the look of this chair and the price., I think it says holds up to 300, but im 330 and do not hear any creaks or cracks as i use it, and i do not just sit on it,. I lean back and use it fully. Wheels work great with my size as well. Only down side to being larger, small people do not need to worry as i tested with my daughter, to the sides like in the picture is hard plastic. at first sorta poked my legs but once you adjust and really just use it, i do not feel the poking anymore and it just feels good. ... show more
