I did a lot of research before choosing this scooter and I've been blown away. In fact, my cat and I are getting addicted to the joy ride with the fresh breeze in the morning (my cat rides in a front basket). The scooter has a long list of features that other scooters don't have: unique retro style in a beautiful mint green color, covered body to give a clean look and prevent dust, foldable seat and handlebar, replaceable battery, long range despite a moderate-size battery thanks to regenerative braking, ability to climb steep hills, cruise control, built in headlight and taillight, bright LED screen, wide foot platform, super cushy and comfortable seat, 10-minute easy assembly, overcharge protection ... the list goes on. I was initially concerned about the seat and handlebar being unadjustable, but watching videos of both adults and children riding it convinced me that it'll be comfortable for almost everyone. Like some customers, I had a problem with the battery and Okai's customer service worked diligently to help resolve it (big thanks to Linky who's incredible!). Some reviewers complained about customer service, but let me say this, provide photos or videos of the issue, ask nicely and be a little patient. Anyway, I already recommended the scooter to anyone who saw and asked about it and I'll be a loyal customer from now on as well. ... show more

Box arrived slighly damaged, but none of the components were harmed. Putting it together was fairly easy and was fully completed in under 30minutes. Driving is smooth, and it can reach top speed quickly and maintains 15mph on hills and bumps. The seat only clamps on, so it can twist or loosen with use. Works perfectly aside from those few errors, which can likely be fixed with creating a screw base where the seat connects to the scooter. ... show more

I bought this scooter back in November, 2022. It would not work out of the box. I tried to work with this company regarding the fact that the battery would not charge. They sent me a new charger - didn't work, then a new battery, again didn't work. Offered to transport the bike to them to their warehouse to replace with new bike. They declined, but said I could send it back to them to be fixed. I felt that I bought new bike, and didn't want it fixed. After two months (November - January) I decided that I would return the bike since it didn't work, for my money and advised them. They sent a UPS shipping invoice - but no boxing materials. I had the item and parts sent boxed and returned to them. They refused to pay boxing costs - over $133.00. They are now refusing to pay boxing costs. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO GET IT TO THEM WITHOUT A BOX? I bought the protection insurance. It was still under company warranty. Good luck to those trying to buy this item. ... show more

Didn’t have the pink color I preferred so I got white and everyone knows white gets dingy fast especially if it’s Gona be outside a lot. THEN after unboxing I noticed the misaligned seat tube and the deep crack in the steering wheel like maybe it fell or got banged

I've had this scooter for about a month. It rides great for the most part...does best on smooth pavement. Every little Crack or bump you will feel and it HURTS. It uses way too much power because I have to charge it when I get to work. This is after its been fully charged!! My work is 4-5 miles away,so the battery is pretty horrible. Now I keep getting a red wrench symbol on my screen & it shuts down in the middle of the road... and I'm unable to find anything about it online...it's a fun thing to ride,but if I could do it all over again,I'd get something else. :( ... show more
