Let me tell you about this ceiling fan I love my new ceiling fan. The functionality on it is great. You can use a remote or have it connected to the switch. It’s great quality easy to install. It only took me about 30 to 45 minutes to take down my old one and install this new one I love it great value for your money. It was $100 plus the coupon I think only came out to $60, which is totally great better than Home Depot and Lowe’s prices I installed this as the day I received it because my old one gave out it very quiet compared to my old one and it blows really good. Fairly easy to install even by someone like me who is DIY challenged. Swapped out a 23 year old builders special which had started to make clicking sounds. Multi speed with reverse and 3 shades of dimmable white light all controlled using supplied remote (add your own aaa batteries). This is an awful fan. It's smart in the fact it has an app, but the app doesn't talk to Google and likes to disconnect constantly. Also, the app wants to request you location data constantly. The fan is also really cheap. They didn't tap the screw holes correctly, so I was completely unable to truly tighten down the fan to the ceiling mount. The fan does spin up pretty fast and was relatively quiet, but even using the remote, it doesn't react like it should. Just know, it's that cheap for a reason. ... show more
