The fan is very quiet and works well. It keeps our living room cool. I have not tried the app yet. The color is great the blades come double sided so you can have all black or a brown/wood looking color. I would recommend this brand to a friend.

Easy install if you know what your doing. Havnt quite figured out on the app how to use the colored lights but remote works well for regular light. Fan works great and cools well.

    • Lacks low speeds, spins fast and windy right away

The media could not be loaded. It works and is pretty quiet and easy to assemble, but there are some major disadvantages in its design: 1) The lowest speed setting "1" is not low at all, it starts off fast and brings some air noise in. Usually fans just spin slowly at the lowest setting, but this one goes straight to high speed spin. And if you go all the way to 6 it is literally a jet turbine. Honestly I wish their low speed was actually low to create a slight breeze. I am sure this is something the manufacturer could fix with the update or app, but yeah, it is a problem. 2) It doesn't remember the last setting if you turn it off using your wall switch. It only remembers the setting if you turn it off using the included remote. The wall switch basically resets it to default light on position with the fan on. It is super annoying. 3) The bracket included has 4 holes and screws, while most US boxes have 2 mounting holes. You can still mount it with just 2 screws and use alright, but I wish it was actually designed to meet the 2 hole box set up. 4) The fan itself is spinning quietly, but the blades make very subtle clicking noise, sorta sounding like quiet rain hitting the roof, especially when the air coming from AC vent blows over the fan, causing a very slight movement. I troubleshooted it, tightened and inspected all screw and joints and came to the conclusion that it's the design issue. Each blade is held by 3 screws, but the blades themselves have plenty of flex when spinning. That causes them to touch against the plastic casing of the fan every so often which causes that noise. The solution is to position the blade in the opening very precisely so it doesn't touch the metal casing. It is not explained anywhere in the manual and I learned it the hard way, once that noise drove me craazzyyy Keep these things in mind. ... show more

I love the remote control, it makes switching speeds and reversing the fan direction very convenient. Installation was straightforward and took less than an hour with clear instructions.
