We have been looking for an industrial farmhouse style light and had purchased a different one from a different supplier that shipped the wrong one twice in a row and had gone to this one in hopes that it would be what we actually saw in the ad. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and appearance and then the function. After installing I noticed a few negative comments about only using one power wire, but that's really a plus because the remote controls everything. If you seriously had to have the light on a separate circuit, you could isolate that from the remote, but then the remote would only control the fan. Being a DC powered fan, it is quite quiet and does move quite a bit of air and I don't know if it's really a true 52-in diameter, but it moves more air than my 52-in builder supplied fan that was in the room in before it. I recently ordered the farmhouse ceiling fan to replace the one in our living room. In the south, you need ceiling fans unless you can afford to pay the high electric to run your central air all day long. This was easy for my husband to install. Nice rustic or industrial look to it. I appreciate the different rods for height adjustment. I went with the longer rod. Even at level 6, this is sturdy and lots of air whirling around. Once you get to level 4 of fan speed, it starts being audibly noticeable. I put smart bulbs in mine and I have had no issues. I am enjoying it. ... show more

The electrician who installed this fan remarked on how well it was built, how good it looked once installed, and how whisper quiet it was even though it was installed outside on the patio. It moves dead air extremely well and looks super nice doing so.

I have to say this is one ceiling fan I absolutely love. It looks great in our living room. I love having a remote to be able to control the fan and lights. The 6 speeds on the fan is really nice, and strong. We purchased some vintage style bulbs to put in the fan, and I think those really make this fan pop. We recently painted the ceiling, and with the new fan and bright bulbs it really does light up the living room nicely. Overall I love this fan and would buy it again, if I needed another one. I highly recommend this fan to anyone, especially if you are looking for something a little different style than the norm. ... show more

We don't usually buy things like this online, typically in store in case of issues, but couldn't resist this one amd it checked all the boxes! Just had our deck covered (finally) and needed a ceiling fan for the 100°+ weather. The fan is beautiful, easy to install (according to the guys installing the cover) and works great.
