This pool vacuum works surprisingly well! First of all, it’s light and efficient. It cleaned the corners of the steps very well—my old vacuum usually can’t reach that space. Secondly, it’s quiet and powerful. It sucked up all the dead algae. Last but not least, no more tangled cable issues. I like it because it’s cordless. I charged it fully after I got it, and it lasted 41 minutes, which was enough to vacuum the whole pool. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this purchase.

This has been really useful for quick cleanups without dragging out hoses or a full system. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and simple to get going—just charge it and drop it in. Suction is strong enough for everyday debris like sand, dirt, and small leaves. It works especially well on steps, corners, and smaller areas where bigger vacuums don’t reach as easily. I got this specifically to get sand out of my hot tub, which gets in there through the overflow from my main pool. My regular pool vacuum is in the pool so it accumulates. While I could drag the suction hose in there, this OGERY handheld is much more convenient. Pros: Effectiveness: It picked up the sand perfectly. I used the thickest mesh filter provided to ensure no sand recirculated, and it worked like a charm. Ease of Use: Rinsing the filter out afterward was very simple. Design: It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. Reach: With the extending handle, you can reach 8 feet. Observations/Tips: Submergence: You have to submerge the entire unit for it to work correctly. Technique: I found that pulling the vacuum toward me was much more efficient at picking up debris than pushing it forward. Battery Life Reality Check: The listing claims a 60-minute runtime, but using it on the High setting with the thickest filter, I only got about 12 minutes before it died. This was enough for my 10-minute hot tub cleanup, but don't expect an hour of high-power cleaning. Overall, I’m happy because it solved a specific problem for me.
